The best looking game I played in the jam so far! The whole style of it is so good, great job! The gameplay is fun and silly and quite enjoyable too, although I don't think the popups add much gameplay-wise but they are silly so it adds to the vibe at least.

Great job overall!

Nice job! Fun little gameplay loop, the glide mechanics were enjoyable. I think if you started with the glider it could've been better as you don't have much control at the start, but otherwise good job!

Thanks!

Thank you so much for the feedback! I'm really glad you enjoyed it enough to get that far too, that's awesome!
When we get around to the post-jam version we'll definitely focus on making the mechanics clearer for sure as that is the main point of criticism. The UI was added very last minute too so that will also get more thought put into it later.

Thanks again for the comment, very constructive and helpful!

The blue building is actually the post office where you can get packages u cant carry later on. I  totally get the confusion though, the house colors are in the mailboxes and that's the only houses you can deliver to.
Thanks so much for playing the game and for the feedback!

Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
The only thing in the level that is randomized are the colors of the mailbox, the placement of everything is the same. I liked this approach because it still gives us some control over the level design while having a lot of variability each time you play! (Although admittedly the map was pretty rushed and could definitely be better, but I still think it's fun enough for the game jam)

I'm glad, thanks!

Thank you very much for the feedback :D

That's a good idea, thanks!

Really fun and polished game! At first I didn't feel the friendly fire affecting me much, but later on it becomes really crazy and fun! The visuals are really good too! Great job!

Thanks!

Thank you very much for the feedback!

Glad you enjoyed it, thanks!

Really simple game but just a really well executed and creative idea! It's very straight to the point and silly and I think that's great for a game jam! Awesome job!

Yeah that part I got, and I loved how there was a description of the places on the level too, I was more so confused about what the chess piece part of the gameplay had to do with it, if anything. That's just a nitpick though, still was an amazing game for a game jam!

Oops we replied at the same time hehe

Thanks for the comment, the color of the square in front of the houses actually doesn't matter at all, I was actually going to have it match the color of the mailbox but kind of ran out of time in the jam and prioritized other things. But yeah to deliver packages you have to match the color of at least 1 package you're carrying (shown on the top left) to the mailbox of a house.
Thanks for playing our game and, again, for the comment :)

Thank you very much, yeah the confusion of the mechanics seems to be the main criticism from people. Very useful to know,  thanks so much for the comment!

Really fun and unique game! I really loved the timeline mechanics they were really satisfying to tinker with.
My only 2 gripes were that when you panned to objective, the camera didn't follow it and timing the launch of the rocket was a little annoying at times because it felt like the single thing that would be inconsistent. I think there should've been a way to time when the rocket launch happens itself.
But overall a really fun game, I really enjoyed it, great job!

The most polished game I've played in the jam so far! The story was really touching and the visuals were so good!
I don't fully see how the gameplay connects with the story and I think it could've used a few more levels but I can see a lot of work was put into it already. Great Job!

Really enjoyable meta game! Love to see weird stuff like this in game jams, it's really fun!

Really fun and charming game! I really liked the charming aesthetic and I think the silly music really fit the game.
If I could add one thing is that I wish that the shooter games kept shooting if left click is held down, and that the third game had a way to be beaten faster since you have a timer, and having to wait around with a timer ticking down doesn't feel great.
Those are small details though and don't detract much from the experience, overall you did great, especially for your first game, good job!

Really cute and charming game! I love the art and the writing!
The gameplay was fun too but the days were a little too long for me and I failed on the 3rd day because I kept being too nice and then my population trusted me too much (sidenote: I don't get why having too much trust causes you to lose in the story, but I get it as a gameplay element and I do think it's necessary).
But yeah overall great job I really enjoyed it :D

Cool concept original concept! The gameplay was simple but neat too, I just think it was a little too hard to react to what's coming as the hazards move too fast and the player too slow. I also think it could've fit the theme better in the gameplay as I only see it in the story.

Overall well done though, it's clear you enjoy the timeline theming of the game and that's awesome to see!

Neat concept, but I think it could've used some more cards, especially more ways to get trust as you just have to fill out a lot of the board with peasant houses. Really good base for something bigger though, good job!

Yeah for sure we need a better tutorial haha
And yeah you have to match the package colors to the mailbox colors, we should've made that clearer.
Still glad you enjoyed it, thanks!

Glad to hear! Thanks for the comment!

Thank  you!

Thanks!

Love the aesthetic of it and the puzzles were really smart and clever! I thought some of the mechanics of where the orange cubes would go after hitting multiple cubes at the same time were kind of counter-intuitive personally and I think there should've been simpler puzzles where the solution was stacking blocks because I kept forgetting that was something I could do.

But overall a really good game, great job!

Yeah for sure the UI was one of the last things we did any work on so it's more on the rougher side.
Really glad you enjoyed the style though, thanks for the comment!

Thank you, we appreciate it!
Yeah, a playable tutorial would definitely be really helpful for the controls and that's probably what we'll do when we make a post-jam version.
I'm glad that you enjoyed the feeling of figuring things out, thanks again for the comment :D

Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion, we'll definitely be including that on the post-jam version!
Thanks for leaving a comment too :D

Thank you!
I think the clearer becomes clearer the more you play, but I totally understand leaving early. We could've made the difficulty curve a bit steeper at the start so the more interesting gameplay would show up faster.
Thanks for the comment!

Yeah for sure we'll have to add a tutorial later on, as there are many things that aren't that clear in the game.
Thanks for the comment!

I'm really glad you enjoyed it!
Yeah the warning before you leave would've been really nice, for the post-jam version we're planning we'll probably add a full pause menu, that should solve that issue.
Thanks for the comment!

Thank you!

Thank you! I'm glad the theme became apparent to you, I was a little worried we didn't lean on it enough, since we scrapped some ideas that would help it, but I definitely agree with you that it becomes clearer the more you play! Glad you enjoyed it :D

Thank you for the comment!
The teleporting was intentional, there was a bug however where your path didn't properly reset if you finished your path and the round at the same time. It should be fixed now hopefully.
