Am I missing something, or is the only audio faint popping sounds?

The audio is affected by either browser, operating system. or the slider which is in the settings menu within the game.

I really didnt understand what was going on in the beginning, so maybe some sort of tutorial at the start of the game? But overall a very cool concept, and once i understood how the different spells worked, and how to choose them at the altars, it was super fun! A bit hard to hit and dodge though

I liked how the effects look, and the overall style and aesthetic. But i think you could improve in the controls and gameplay.

The controls are the game are simple. But the lack of enemy variation makes the controls feel harsh. A method of blocking might give the game a fresh new coat of paint.

Enjoyed playing this. I understand that spell 2 isn't accurate but whats the correct way to use it? Is it just a powerful spell that is balanced by having it so you can't easily control it? Just wondering for next time I play :)

You have two active spells you can change between with Q, and E. You had spell 2 selected by default. (it isnt accurate). The first one is accurate. (press Q);

I feel like the pieces were there, but i just have no idea what to do, i can pick up (or discard?) scrolls that dont seem to do anything, i couldnt find the exit if it exists, webgl kept crashing cuz i double clicked the start button lol

Im guessing that you could have escaped but i just didnt find where to go? idk really

The most solid part of this game, it just lacks a bit of polish, framerate felt low

Overall it had good potential but all of the pieces just werent tied together yet, i hope you still had fun making it, keep up the great work:)

Firstly, the frame rate which is low is because of the limitations of webGL.  (windows build works fine , unless your using a Pentium and Intel HD graphics).  2, Yes you could exit. the start room has a well with a sign saying 7 souls. You collect souls after killing enemies. 3. Sound. There is a slider in the settings menu. You might have slid that to 0 volume.  4. scrolls change your current spell. and you could've switched between primary scroll and secondary scroll with Q, and E. (in the description of the game.) The one that is selected by default is powerful, but doesn't aim at all. Your second one shoots straight.

Hope you guys liked my recording on your game in the general chat. Overall fun game, I only have 2 problems with it. Sometimes it feels like your forced to do a cover and shoot strategy and you only have a second to react to certain enemies. Also enemies can shoot through walls. Overall really good game.

NOTICE:

The 2nd spell that you start with shoots in random directions.  But its more powerful.


Click Q, to change to first spell and click E to change to second spell.

The second spell is selected by default. Didn't fix in playtesting. But cmon , its 1 click to fix.

I have some problems when trying to aim the enemies, some times it just shoots at random angles, but the design looks nice

I really like the art work! The lighting effect is cool! But i feel the spell shoots in random directions and it feels like I'm playing a wild mage sorcerer.

Sometimes these are due to some random Lootlocker Requests Thingey.  Its a bug I rarely find, so I cant really diagnose.
