Very challanging but also satisfying. I couldn't get to the shogun, but I liked a lot being better and better in combat

Like the art direction and the style of gameplay (even though it can be tough to get used to at first).

But a really well done and beautifully crafted game!

The art design is truly amazing, and I really liked the gameplay and the ninja theme!

The art and the environment it creates compounded with great audio makes the game really immersive. Loves the game overall.

I just can't get how to play this game(I did read the tutorial), the atmosphere is great though

The atmosphere and graphics of this game is amazing. It just felt... authentic. The combat took me a little longer to figure out than I would have liked but that might be a skill issue LOL. Once I got it down it was pretty fun to time and dodge correctly. I thought it was also a good idea to have the combat be turn-based as well as rhythm based so the player doesn't get overwhelmed. I couldn't quite beat the shogun but I'll probably come back later to finish him off. Great job to the team! If you have the time I'd love if you checked out my game as well!

Took a bit to get used to, but very enjoyable after I figured it out.

After getting the hang of the combat it's quite fun! I reached the shogun multiple times, but could not defeat him. Struggled with dodging the second/third heavy attack in a combo or blocking a 7-9 pass sequence, but the turn +  rythm-based combat while fighting your way through is a great concept! If polished a bit I would play a lot more of it in the future 👍

The mood and the art style are really great! It reminded me a lot of Punch Out, loved that game! It's a great entry to the jam!

The artstyle and direction is great! I really enjoyed the mood.

I would recommend a small tutorial o small enemy first, to learn the mechanics. Nice entry!

I love the idea of the game, it really works well with the theme, and the art looks gorgeous. However, the combat portion is a bit rough but it definitely has a lot of potential. With a bit of polishing, it could really push the game even further. Overall, great job :)
