visual and gameplay loop is 🔥🔥🔥 wish gameplay was just more intitive what also my game suffers from too (

Yeah, we tried do more testing, but just couldn't improve the guidance enough, as we tried to innovate, it was hard to convey all the gameplay elements in a simple manner. Also discovering some things is part of the game. Making games is hard!

Absolutely loved the audiovisual aspects! The turtles made me so happy. Found the puzzle aspect a bit confusing at times but would love to come back and spend some more time on it

One of the best games of the Jam for sure! Love the art style and the whole puzzle solving dynamic.

Congratulations :D

So far, one of the best game I played this jam. I love the concept and your theme interpretation. I don't like the art direction which is too much "Paint.exe style" ; but the game is terribly fun and innovative! Congratulations, really strong entry!

Wow that scene change was so cool! I haven't seen anything like it since Paper Mario. The gameplay was intuitive and easy to learn, and it was fun learning all the new mechanics. One thing that was a little frustrating was the hitboxes/movement in terms of bouncing on monsters but that honestly could have been just a skill issue haha! Great job to the team on this unique game, it was fun and really stood out!

Didn't understand everything but liked the graphics. Really liked the perspective changes.

Impressive game! First game I saw here which really convinces in all the 5 rating aspects!

very unique graphics (did you do that with paint?).

music fits the game perfectly.

I didn't always fully understand what was happening but I managed to finish it. A level with the red robot would be good ;D

I hope the game is still being worked on!

I liked it GG

It's made to look like paint, but it's actually done in Gimp, Krita and Flip a Clip (A mobile animation app)

That's some clever puzzles with the perspective change, reminded me of The Pedestrian and a bit of Neverhood (probably the music) :D Wanted to keep playing after I got the flower. You know it's a cool design when you have no idea how something was made exactly!

this is one the best looking games in the jam

I love the art style and the playable menu is really cool, it took me a bit to understand what I was meant to do but I really like the concept. I will say that the bats got on my nerves a bit though lol.

nice one! I love how it turns to 3D.

here are some inputs from me:

  • to increase the game feel, you can turn the music louder and the SFX lower
  • at first (the menu) I was confused about how to navigate (I thought it was using the mouse to navigate the UI). The idea of using the character movement to navigate the UI is great, but you should put hints in the menu too.

I loved the progression, the puzzles felt rewarding to solve! I especially loved the overall art style/animation of the monsters. Great work!

The puzzles have an interesting flow to them; really remind me of old PC adventure games. Nice work!

I loved the playing the game! The mix between 2D and 3D was really interesting and I loved the hand drawn art style. The instructions on what to do (The drag and drop mechanic) could have been conveyed better but I loved how the puzzle evolved as you added more monsters to your collection. The sound effects were good and the game was a very good innovation on the platforming genre. Well done! 9/10
