Streamed this game tonight

The fun factors is off the charts on the movement as aspect. I loved speeding around, double jumping wall jumping. The game felt funnest when I just tried to avoid the the homing shurikens and get to the boss, I may have swore in anger a few times while streaming, but I was legit enjoying the movement in the game. 

Boss one shotted me a couple times, but if you do another game in the future definitely lean into the off the wall speed and parkour!

Thanks, this was my first attempt at a platformer, and I picked up the things I like most in that game genre (although, arguably, it's my least favorite). I LOVE that you loved it. And I'm actually quite glad you swore a few times. It means you're invested!

I enjoyed this little game! Those punks with the boomerangs though... so mean!

I Initially had them just firing upwards as opposed to horizontally like the dogs. But they were too easy, so I upped the ante!

Cool game and i enjoyed it despite the fact that is very difficult. However with a bit of practice its a fun experience :)

I should have included that people can triple-jump as well. I think it makes the game a bit easier.

Nice game! Controls felt nice overall. Game was pretty tough because of the grim reaper's attack. They were really hard to avoid and felt like there was little to breath in between their attacks. Sadly couldn't get pass the boss if there's anything more after it due to shuriken bug.

I really oughta fix that Shuriken bug. I'm glad you enjoyed it tho, it's my first foray into building a platformer.

Nice platformer but unfortunately like many others I also lost my ability to throw stars once I got to the boss. I feel like the grim reaper's projectiles were a bit too mean as well, but maybe that's the idea of them :D

Yeah the Shuriken bug is something that is easy to fix, I just haven't had the time to do it. I'm glad you enjoyed it though, it really encourages me that people liked playing it.

It is a fun platformer with interesting visuals. I wasn't able to beat the boss, got there multiple times but kept getting wrecked by the contact damage.

I liked speedrunning the level- after dying to the boss I would try and get there as fast as possible. 

Also, I think there's something going on with the ammo as well, I would suddenly stop shooting after some time, during the boss fight.

Regarding feedback, I'd say that there is some jankiness to the collisions. Nonetheless, good job!

I checked that, apparently I forgot to put a reload in on it when the first clip expended. I'll have to fix that in a future update.

The boss had some pretty cool challenges to it. Is there a limit to your ammo? Part way through the boss I couldn't attack anymore.  Also those ghostly dudes need to die 10,000 deaths.

The ghostly dudes were a challenge to code. At the start they were too easy, so I ramped up the difficulty and I think they might have ended up too hard :/

So. This is a platformer. I am not very good at platformers.  I died way too many times and gave up because I wasn't able to get through it properly. I don't know if this affects anything. But I'm left handed, meaning that WASD isn't something I got adjusted to as controls? I'm not sure if it works ambidextrously, but it didn't feel like I was controlling it. Some of the jump gets a bit jank. Its mostly me though.

I do like the art style and the sprite work is pretty good, albeit the wallstretching is quite awkward at the start. Its a nitpick at best though.

As the person who made this, I am also terrible at platformers. I'm sorry you didn't like it. If I had the time I would have probably made this more accessible to left-handers, but as I was only able to finish it in the time I had, I didn't have the extra time to include acessibility, so that's my bad. I apologize.

Nice old school platformer with cool graphics. I feel like it would've been a little easier with some "health potions" scattered around, 'cause the death guys are 100% going to f*k you up before the boss lol

That's not a bad idea tbh. I would have put those in. the idea was that when you killed a mob, it'd drop a full restore. But I didn't have the time to implement a drop system.
