Great game! Simple yet fun to play concept. It feels quite smooth to play it! I just feel like the background is a bit too distracting, there's not enough contrast between back- and foreground. But besides that nice work!

Thank you so much

Really good work! I really liked the suburban atmosphere and the pixel art. My only advice: some additional animation (e.g. related to the breaking of the box or the button pressed) would have improved the experience a lot. I hope you will continue to improve this game :)

Developer

about the improve thing, this is my first try at a game jam, sorry...

Really good game! I enjoyed it. I would have liked to have more visual and sound feedback. Every time I lost, I didn't noticed it at first sight. Also, maybe more color contrast would help to the experience. Just some comments, but overall, great game!

Developer

thanks!

Fun and simple game! Great job on your first game jam! The aesthetic of the game is good, and the music has the electric sound, which reminds me of those electric wand games where you cant touch the metal tube. Good Job!

Developer

Thanks!

Cool game. Ideas were good and nicely explained.

Developer

Thanks for the rate!

Pretty simple and nice game. I like the graphics. The thing that breaks it are that you can drag the box throught the other static boxes and complete level that way or I can just drag it off screen and complete the level. I am also missing tho are sound settings and sfx when the box breaks/dies.

Developer

is the box noclip bug i don't know how to fix, and the settings thing i'll probably see them later

Nice little game!

Thanks for the Rating!

I really like the visual style, and yep, I also discovered how to avoid all the puzzles lol

Developer

the noclip bug i didn't know how to fix :(

Game idea is nice. But it would be a good idea to put collider on the boxes and level edges. In most sections, I can finish by taking the box from the edge. But other than that, it's a really good puzzle game.

Developer

it's because of the noclip box bug, i don't know how to fix

Nice job for your first game jam! Keep it up!!

Developer

Thanks for the nice comment!

Great little game for your first game jam! For future you should probably colour code the portals for growth or shrinkage, and the colliders were a little out of whack so I failed when the box clearly wasn't touching, but this feels like a solid little game. Reminds me of old flash games, keep up the good work!

Developer

first, i don't know how to fix the box noclip bug, so i left it, and second, i didn't know it looked like old flash games, even if it's made in unity

Fun.

Thanks.

Congrats on your first jam game. Nice art. Every level is exploitable though by moving the box through the bounds of the screen.

Developer

it's by a bug i don't know how to fix, sorry :(

For a first attempt this was pretty impressive! The art style is great. The fuzziness and jerky movement do make it a bit challenging to keep track of where you are though. Even so, great double interpretation of the theme. Well done!

Developer (1 edit)

thank you!, the spikes really do good!, and also the size portal looks nice, even if i made the asset on scratch ._.

How did you make the backdrop? I used AI for ours

Developer

i used a itch.io game asset to have a cyberpunk-ish looking background!

Super cool. I wish I could make pixel art as detailed as that. Best of luck with your future games!

Not bad!
Beat all levels quite fast... and only then I noticed that my box can wass though wall :D
Other than that using box texture bor obstacles make it confusing to find where is the one box I can move. Could use a different texture on that one.

Developer

yeah, it's my first REAL time competing in a game jam, and i don't know how to fix the wall clipping bug...
