I'm also stuck at the H, did you figure it out?

Great little game for your first game jam! For future you should probably colour code the portals for growth or shrinkage, and the colliders were a little out of whack so I failed when the box clearly wasn't touching, but this feels like a solid little game. Reminds me of old flash games, keep up the good work!

I can definitely see how you would run out of time for that. I would've taken the full 48 hours just to design that fantastic level 9!

All good, totally understandable! Its way more polished than my game so good work!

Unfortunately we didn't have time to fix the camera properly, but thank you for playing!

I would love to play more of the expanded version! Let me know where to look out for it

Thanks! I loved your approach to this same idea. I wish I had like an extra half day just to put all the pieces together. It got to a few hours before the deadline and I hadn't even done the broom physics yet so decided to rush that working over putting all the other pieces into the game which was a shame.

Yeah unfortunately we didn't get the gameplay loop in properly, but all the logic is sitting on my hard drive in seperate pieces still lol. Hoping to polish it up and rerelease it after the jam. Thanks for playing!

Our writer did amazing work, its a shame we scrapped the narrative for time.

Neat idea and art style but the controls felt a bit clunky. Nice work for 48 hours though!

Really fun, but too easy. Perhaps increase the speed over time or track strikes over time instead of in a row. Played for like half an hour though, I could definitely see this taken further as a more puzzly game. Great job!

Great polish and loved the humour! Got stuck on a puzzle sadly so couldn't finish it, but really nice work!

10/10 played as a fish wearing a hat

Reminds me of those little toy mazes you get with the multiple marbles. Great fun, although when you die and restart it should also reset the rotation, otherwise you can get into situations where you couldn't naturally get otherwise. Nice work

Hey you made the same idea as my team! Great job, felt really fun to play. Its a shame that theres so much juice in the game but when you die its just a cut to black and back to the start. Would be great to see yourself get squashed and have to restart. It would also be nice to track attempts as well as time, since you die a lot. Excellent work though!

Neat idea and cute art style! Spamming fruit seemed like the optimal strategy so maybe have a limited amount of ammo to make it have more goals. Also couldn't see how to unlock the levels

Neat idea and great that you have to figure out the satisfaction criteria, however with no time limit or world size constraints I felt it was super easy to just constantly build outwards with no penalty. Perhaps limiting the players freedom a bit would make it more puzzly. Also the UI in the bottom right corner blended in with the game world, perhaps just add a solid background behind it for readability. Neat game!

Cute little game, I immediately got invested in protecting my little buddy from harm and got stressed when big mr boss man came along. Only thoughts are that perhaps a sentient crate is a bit weird, although not sure what to change it to that still fits the theme of role reversal. Excellent work!

Was fun for a couple minutes but it could do with a few more enemies on screen for a challenge. Also I kinda cheesed the zone time by only aiming in one direction and made it much easier. Perhaps if you made it into a turn rather than a snap it would make it harder to control. Nice work :)

All good. The Unity UI can be a pain in the neck, so I think all games should ship with the options menu before the game launches

Feels like it would be better with some tutorials and music/SFX feedback. Also the levels weren't super clear about where you could/can't go so I struggled a bit with readability. Nice work though!

Great fun! I love the puzzly nature to it, and the mechanics are simple but create interesting dynamics. With slightly better tutorialisation this game would be perfect! I would love to see this expanded to a full release.

I loved the ramp up in difficulty, great tutorialisation of mechanics! Level 9 had me stumped for a long time, and I liked how it turned from a platformer into a puzzle game. Great job but I hated how much you hurt my brain.

One tiny criticism is that some jumps are a bit fiddly. I would probably add space to jump as well as add in a bit of coyote time (see Mark's great video on platforming)

I love strategy card games so this is right up my alley! I got confused my first few runs though before I discovered the tutorial button, I feel like it would be much better if that automatically popped up on your first run.

It also feels a bit hard to read what you have, I like the art style you went with but it obfuscates your town a little bit I feel. Could also use a note on each of the resources about what your daily change is.

Overall this idea is great and I would love to see it expanded and polished into a full game. Reminds me a little bit of Stacklands so maybe look into that for inspiration. Great work!

Was a fun little romp, and I loved the music. It's a shame that I felt too powerful even with all my abilities gone, I would love to play a rebalanced version of this where it is more of a challenge. Good work!

I had trouble getting it to run until I changed my resolution to 1920x1080, maybe add that as a note to the page (damn you Unity canvas system!)

Interesting premise for a game but as someone below said it doesn't feel too mechanically different. I feel like it might be worth pursuing the concept some more. Good work!

Really great vibes and visuals, loved the puns of classic games. Could've used a short tutorial popup though, I was very confused at the first screen. It also appeared to break after the 4th game, unsure if I reached the end or a bug.

EDIT: Just saw in your screenshots there were games I didn't see, so will try again to play through it all

EDIT2: Yep it appears that sometimes randomly the review doesn't post which is a shame.

Great work, and thank you for this gem:

Thank you for the review!

Oops, Ctrl+W is an oversight, didn't even think of that for the web build.

Camera was a known issue but just didn't get time to fix unfortunately.
