I hope I'm not echoing everyone else here too much, but you did really really well this jam. Something about these puzzles scratched that brain itch - challenging, satisfying to solve and feels great when you're on a roll. There were 3 or 4 I couldn't make par on by one or two moves, but I sure kept going back to try every time until I had to move on.

Without remembering the pattern key from the title screens, it was a little harder to get some of them right. I think it would have worked well to keep that key around somewhere accessible during gameplay. However, some specific levels (Learning to Run, Turning it Up, and Remember the Rules) serve as pretty good teaching tools for overlapping order and which patterns are produced by which number of pins.

Plus I'm really impressed with the level editor and mobile version! Sfx is well done and the music you picked fits very well. This is a super solid entry for this jam!!

Developer

Yeah, adding the pattern key to the main gameplay screen is totally on the list of improvements I want to make.

I had a really good time making this game, so I'm super happy to hear you had a good time! I had a blast with yours as well!

Masterpiece. Release this!!! I’ll be your first buyer, let’s do this, need a full release 👍

But no seriously, well done. This is perfection. Every single thing about this was executed perfectly from my standpoint. Especially in the time limit.

Well done. This deserves the jam win, by far.

This made my day. Thanks for your kind words!

Really cool game ! lots of levels & clever puzzles !
and you even made a level editor !

Great work !

I'm happy to hear you liked it!

The level editor kind of came accidentally, as it was the easiest way for me to make levels for the game. I just had to make it a bit prettier and add some extra UI, and it went in the final game. Due to some security stuff on itch.io, you can't copy/paste level text into the game directly, but the windows and android versions allow you to encode/decode levels in text form and share custom levels. Here's one, for if you happen to have used one of those versions. (make sure not to get any leading or trailing spaces) Otherwise don't worry about it.

Either way, thank you very much for your comment!

Veery fun and clever, congratulations. Puzzles were difficult but satisfactory to make, and  could finish it. The level editor is wonderful and I find so clever you actually used that to make the levels. Congrats!

Developer

Thank you! It's so great to hear you liked it. And thank you for playing it on stream! Super cool to see you play it.

Nice game! I like the concept and gameplay very much, but I think it runs a high risk of triggering epileptic seizures.

Developer(+1)

Oh I didn't even think of that. After the jam I'll add an option to disable the background motion.

I'm glad you liked it anyway!

Really fun and engaging puzzles and progression. It took me a few attempts to figure out the mechanics but then was very satisfying puzzles. For me, the background animations sometimes felts like a lot but on the other hand, kind of fit with all the motions and vibe. Overall, really cool and wish you much success continuing with this.

This is a really well done project. It takes a while to understand what you are doing but otherwise you have nailed it.

Overall well designed. Keep up the work.

Developer

Thanks a lot! I appreciate it!

The gameplay is very satisfying and I really enjoyed the overall concept and relaxing atmosphere of the game. But at some point (only a few levels in the game) it was not clear which rules make up which patterns. Still and excellent game!

Developer(+1)

I'm really glad you liked it! There's a key on the title screen which shows how to get each color, but I think you're right that it should be more clear. Thanks for the feedback!

Oh then I am just blind. I mean technically you showed in the introduction levels how to create the different shapes. Sometimes just things were a bit tricky to memorize in game. (You should keep working on this)
