Great concept and realization, quite sad when you lose. Wonderful graphics and music and sound effects.

Super fun game c: I am emotionally attached to my little plant now

A very creative and unexpectedly addictive game. I could spend hours experimenting with different plant "builds" using those branch nodes. Who knew being a plant wasn't so easy

Amazing game. I enjoyed the gameplay and of course the graphics. This is really a unique interpretation of the theme. Well done

Grew a towering monstrosity that collapsed under its own weight, great job

Interesting game! I really like it. If this game was on steam, I'm sure a lot of people would buy the game. There is a lot of potential here.

Incredible!

Every aspect of the game is detailed and polished, it has full potential for a full game, I'm sure I'll be addicted to it!

Really fun idea! This was another idea we were considering on our board. I can imagine building some kind of idle clicker out of this concept.

wow, very cool game in all aspects! 5/5

This good looking game has a very engaging gameplay and it's pretty complex too! I'm impressed by how much you managed to do in such a short time and make all mechanics work properly with physics, great job!

Submitted(+1)

Wow what a fantastic game! Everything was excellent, from the concept to the mechanics. Well done!

Really enjoyed this one! Took a little bit to figure out but I got the hang of it. I loved the ‘oh no!’ moments that I think are caused by random events? I never knew it was so hard being a plant! I wouldn’t make a very good one :c

Not everyone is as critical as the farmer. You just need to find a plant that will love you for who you are.
Glad you liked it though! There aren't any random events (besides the rain) but the physics can get a bit unstable sometimes, particularly if you placed a bunch of leaves so that they collide and push around. Wasn't really sure how to fix that and had to just let it be with the limited time. But sometimes it's a nice shake up, keeps you on your toes. But oh well. 😅

i love it!

Amazing! I didn't know I could enjoy this type of game but I'm hooked. Definitely worth continuing and adding to. Maybe more plants or mechanics? Maybe diseases? Who knows, but it's all excellent, great job!

😊
I was content with it but I don't think my partner is going to let me get away with it so we'll probably polish it up a bit more and add some more mechanics we wanted and release it somewhere for a smalllll fee.

This game was great! The graphics are amazing. The way the branches physically interact with each other makes it feel like a real plant is growing. I've never seen this concept done in any form before -- Spore is the closest game conceptually that I can think of. Kudos to you for making such a cool and polished game, especially given the time constraints!

Really nice game, that feels good to play, and shows a lot of potential as a game that I could see many getting sucked into!

There's definitely things that *I personally* would love to see added to the game (like some kind of "forecast" / timeline / clock), and it would be nice if the game taught the player how to start the initial gameplay loop, because it's not immediately clear what all the player should be aiming to do. That being said, I can see these as being things that may not be desirable in the vision for the game, and the existing idea is really solid!

Thanks for the feedback and ideas. I kinda thought figuring out how to plant would be part of the fun, and adding an impossible to miss height meter would give you all the incentive you need to grow tall. But you're not the only one to mention being confused in the start, so either I was wrong or we didn't manage to make discovering plantery as fun as we thought. Still, most people seem to get it eventually and enjoy growing their plant, so I think that's good.

Cute visuals and it can easily become one of those comfort games if you need to relax. I just wish there was some sort of tutorial or introduction to better let me know what to do (I kept pressing stuff and had some guesses, but it would be good to understand what I could do a better). Cute game, tho

Plants don't get tutorials, Jerry.

Basic Physics of the Game is good But I didn't understand the main concept

Very well polished game :)

I don't quite understand how the fruit helps or how the strengthening physically works to support the plant, but great job in 48 hours

I really like the way this game is going, keep it up!
