I really liked the homemade art and audio. Cool concept too, not just being limited to the standard bowling pin layout but instead having a chessboard-like puzzle environment.

I like how the goal is inverted from the typical goal of snake. Instead of moving the food pieces to help the snake grow, you're actively trying to sabotage it. Quite a creative take on such a classic game! I do wish the snake had some indication of its next direction so you could plan/strategize a bit more, though

Having a fire truck shoot fire is just.. wild! The music and sound effects really add to the fast-paced feel of the game

Cool idea, reminds me of Undertale. I liked the story-esque text. I couldn't figure out the differences between the attack types though.

A very relevant topic to today's world. Letting the player control the phone gives a unique perspective on it

Cool concept! I like the way each character has a unique ability that is small but significant for solving the puzzles. I do wish the animations were just a tad faster (or could be canceled).

Cool take on the classic Frogger game. It's surprisingly difficult to get all of the frogs. Great job balancing the vehicle costs and lane cooldowns.

Ah, I went back to try to replicate the glitch and I'm guessing it's actually intended behavior. The player resets every time you paint a new color onto the tiles or adjust the actions of the current colors. Maybe just make it a bit more clear in the description that you can't make changes to the level while the player is walking through it.

Not necessarily, I just think it would be better if we could see the stage paused before the game starts. For most of the levels, I had to restart a few times before I figured out where the boxes were starting, their starting directions, and the goal places. So maybe show the stage paused and then only start the movement when the user presses space?

Cool interpretation of the theme! The boxes accelerate so fast it's hard to keep up

This game was great! The graphics are amazing. The way the branches physically interact with each other makes it feel like a real plant is growing. I've never seen this concept done in any form before -- Spore is the closest game conceptually that I can think of. Kudos to you for making such a cool and polished game, especially given the time constraints!

It's cool how the game is based on the concept of reversing the tutorial: usually the most dreaded/boring part of the game, but this jam entry manages to make it quite challenging! I do wish the player had a smarter AI and wasn't just a robot, but of course time limitations during a jam can make that next to impossible. The only real issue I ran into was the player occasionally glitching and dying when there weren't any enemies touching them.

Awesome game! The action-puzzle style of this game was very addictive, and the concept of aiming bullets in reverse time is really unique!

This is a quite different take on level building than some of the other games in the jam. The repeated action loop makes the puzzles interesting and at times, rather difficult!

I've never seen a deckbuilder/city-builder in one game before. The game is quite complex with many moving parts, and I had trouble keeping track of everything. I'm impressed you made it in 48 hours!

An interesting take on a bullet hell! It definitely feels weird being unable to shoot.

The art was great here. I liked the concept too, reminds me of Papers Please. It also took me a while to understand that you get two sequences of words to cross out, not just two words. But after I figured that out, the game made a lot more sense.

I really liked the level design. Each level taught a new concept in an interesting and accessible way. I'm impressed the jumps were timed so well. I always felt like the player jumped when they should, even though it was on a constant loop to jump every few seconds. The game is very well polished, especially considering the limited time for the jam.

Cool concept! The combination of tower defense and building, but building the units instead of the map, really made this game stand out. It fits the role reversal theme well while being inventive and fun. Building was a tad glitchy, but there's only so much you can do in 48 hours!

Thank you! I tried to only use the taller enemy in a few places to keep that enemy feeling special. I would definitely liked to have added more enemies if I had time, though.

I had this same bug; it absolutely destroyed my playthrough. Only about 1 in 3 times I pressed space caused the character to actually jump :(

If you fix it, please let me know so I can re-rate the game.

Thanks! I put a lot of work into making sure all aspects of the environment changed in the mirror dimension, glad to hear it paid off.

I really like the flipping animation. The collision detection is a bit weird in this game, though -- you freeze whenever you touch a wall horizontally.

I thought the graphics were great in this game! The puzzles are quite fun as well.

The physics feels really fun in this game.

Very tricky (but fun!) game. I wish it was possible to see which direction gravity pointed in each area. The borders can be ambiguous sometimes.

The text that appears as you keep running really makes the game feel complete :)

I like the idea! The game is a bit rough around the edges, though. The pacing in particular feels too fast. When enemies that spawn right next to your factory line, it almost immediately causes game over.

Fantastic little minigame! The requirement to flip the phone to access the other side adds just enough complexity to keep it interesting and difficult, but it's still very easy to pick up and learn.

This is such an unconventional idea! I thought it was very fun. The animations, audio, and graphics style really work well together here to create a humorous atmosphere with horror vibes.
