It's a reversal of katamari's mechanics! Instead of navigating space, you play as the universe exerting gravitational pull.

Good game! 😊

Little Laika was adorable, and the way you explained the mechanics through the play screen was really intuitive! It got a little frustrating towards the end, where there were very few planets to score with, but nice game nonetheless!

Well done! 😄

Love it! One of my favourite games of the jam. Great presentation, funny, tight gameplay. You've nailed this, well done!

I loved the presentation above all. Way that cutscenes and narration flown was spot on. Also this interactive, 2d eyes animation was really cool.

Game was especially intresting to me since about a year ago I was part of the crew working on another game about dog in space, called 'Space Tail: Every journey leads home'.

What a crazy coincidence that you worked on Space Tail!  While we were working on the game, I was curious to see if anyone else make a game about Laika and your game was the one that came up! I really love the art direction :) Thanks so much for playing our game!!

I was wondering if this was a spin on katamari. until I read your submission above. very nostalgic.

This is the cutest idea ever

Wow this game was such a joy to play, I did find the gameplay a little slow, maybe a touch too hard to shake off all the dirt. I eventually realized I could stop pulling Laika towards a planet just before they enter orbit. Which meant I could just pull doggy friend into a planet over and over to shake it all off.

Overall though, what a wonderful experience! The narrative was so cute and the amount of polish and great ideas in this one is off the charts!

I like the vibes. It's funny. Gameplay feels kind of tedious to me though.

I really like the Universe character. The art kinda reminds me of a game called "Before your eyes". The gameplay itself is quite simple but I like the fact that the planets attached to the dog influence it's gravity. The dynamic between the Universe and the dog is funny. Great game!

Most existentially relevant game of the jam

This is the most fun I ever had beating up an adorable dog XD but seriously this game was a lot of fun. Fantastic work with the cutscenes and the art. The mechanic was fun too. Good touch with the cute bonk sound when Laika hits the planets, so it feels cute and less abusive. But I sucked at the game so that dog got whipped around every which way haha
