How does your game fit the theme?
We implemented the theme in a more narrative sense. We took the trope, an innocent old grandma, and reversed it. The role of a Grandma is to Protect, spoil, and love their grandkids, but you can rest assure that Grandma doesn't.

The game looks and sounds great!

Though the grandma seemed a bit too fast... like insanely fast. I couldn't progress because hiding appears to not be working for some reason which is unfortunate because I would love to play the game all the way through.

This was a cool horror game! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!

An actual horror game in such a short time span is very impressive, I liked it very much :)

Was fun to play! But the grandma is so fast haha.

Grandma is mean. I'm not sure it really fits the theme 🤔

i spooped my pants

Holy crap I wasn't expecting to be on the edge of my seat with that one. That was really well done, I think the grandma was a little fast but I was able to hide for a while. Love the idea!

This was really fun to play. The art is really good and detailed, great job on that!

Regarding controls, it was pretty awkward to interact with things. I believe that you have to be oriented towards something to interact with it (?) yet it wasn't that clear in the game. It would be good to display the "interact" prompt only if you actually can do this at the moment (you are close enough, etc.).  Also placing it over mouse cursor would probably make it even clearer.

Otherwise, really solid entry, well done :)

nice art, nice idea, i think you need more good tutorial or Presentation, but good work for this time !

you can check and rate my game if you want :)

I don’t really play horror games but this is cool! Although there is a bug (on the WebGL version at least) that if you hide in the dryer you get stuck in the walls, forcing you to restart

I liked the overall aesthetics but the game was a little too punishing for having to restart from the beginning. It would be fun to see some improvements in the future. I didn't get how the game fits the "roles reversed" theme though. But again, a fun gameplay idea and cool implementation, the ambient was quite immersive, I now fear grandmas XD

Hey! Thanks for the kind words and feedback. A checkpoint system was something we had in mind, and partially implemented, we unfortunately didn't have the time to fully implement it.

doesnt really feel like it follows roles reversed cause i know plenty evil grandmas lol, but it is really nice game! the atmosphere set the tone well and made it scary. it was also fun (and STRESSFUL) avoiding grandma :)

I scary in this game I like it

Although the game had an incredible sheen and ambience I was struggling to find how "roles reversed" was utilised cleverly. Although the reversed trope is a good start, I feel as if having the gameplay revolving around "roles reversed" might augment player experience.
