Decent game! Nice simple roguelite! Though I think that the controls weren't fitting. Another thing you could add is juice, but good job for such a short amount of time!

Developer

Yeah, I already added more monsters and loot stuffs

Also improve the controls

Thank for playing!

Fun game! Early game was really difficult and as others said already, the clicking as a bit much haha! Would love to see more, maybe even some light and heavy attacks.

This reminded me of an old childhood game I used to play where I fight sorcerers and giants as a little kid. Good work on this game loved the graphics.

Developer

Nice! Thanks! It was inspired by Diablo style

Third person-top down fighting games are find it hard to impress me, as there are an unnecessary amount of vfx or movement, but your game was pretty simple you really KISS'd you're game there. Good work.

Oh this game brings me back ! I absolutely love the tone you've set in the dungeon, its really lacking a good music !

The major flaw I want to tackle is that my hand was getting sore from all the clicking, would be nice to be able to hold down and have the player run in the direction of the cursor. Other than that I think some more balancing could be nice as we are definitely very weak on the earlier lives, but hey that's a nice entry given the time constraints, keep it up :)

Developer

Hi Mathieu! Thanks! Yeah, I run out of time for even search for a free music tune.

I've already fix the clicking issue. It was really annoying for me too! And I'm working on the upgrade system and balancing difficult at the first part of the dungeon.

Thank you for playing!

That's awesome you're making all of this by yourself. Overall the mechanics are all pretty solid, which is great. I loved the use of camera zooms when I died, it was an enjoyable touch.

I found myself clicking a LOT. Maybe there's a better way to do motion, like holding the mouse down to continue walking or something?

I think the upgrades could have been a bit better as well. You start out pretty weak, so it'll be more fulfilling if when I get a couple blacksmith upgrades they feel a bit more substantial.

Developer

Thank you liukaichi ! Glad you enjoy it!

About the clicking... DEFINITELY! I assign Control key for the testing cause there were millons of "clicks" and been working by night :D

The blacksmith upgrades got screwed when I implement the graphics. I've been testing the build with my son, and is not as well balanced that it was during the development of the game. Also there were several stats that you can't upgrade due to lack of time. Same with visuals for each upgrade. The player has all mesh objects representing each armor upgrade, but I had to cut it down or I wouldn't had been able to submit the game in time.

Thank you fro playing!
