Ranked from 40 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does your game fit the theme?
The game is centered around death. The ultimate end. But for the Hero, a new beginning when he is resurrected by Death itself.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code except for the text scripts which were a game maker extension. The art and story were done by my team of 4 that are all credited in the game and the page. The music was commissioned for the project. The composer is also credited.

Really neat mechanic! However, the controls felt a little unintuitive and it was a bit too easy to swap into ghost mode and get lost

This is a hard one! The mechanics are really well  done, the jump, grapple and ability to  leave your body work  amazingly, great job!

Really creative mechanic! Loved the graphics and had a lot of fun with the game in general

This is really impressive work! The game design was great had all the things I wanted it to have. Loved the ghost mechanic, very unique and allowed the fun puzzles you all created to be possible. The first boss was a bit hard due to little feedback when it was going to attack. Also it would have been nice if I could use WASD to move and maybe mouse click to use abilities or something like that I had trouble using the hookshot with my left hand. Overall great job! Could see this as a full release someday!

Yeah, I feel that whole other controls thing. I was going to have that, but I screwed myself over early on in programming and it made it hard to add other control schemes later. I'll definitely learn from that. Thanks for the feedback.

I really like this game, had a blast with it. The boss fight was really advanced with so many different attacks. Great work. Also the way you incorporated the theme is really cool, having to pick up your own body here and there is a great take. My main wish would be to make the grapple primarily shoot up, since that's the main way you use it. I've died a fair bit by accidentally having it shoot to the side than up. I couldn't beat it I got stuck a little after the boss where a wizard flooded a floor with skeletons and I couldn't just up to fight them. Awesome work! Great job.

Oh dang! That'll be lack of testing haha. Thanks for pointing that out. I had an invisible wall that the cultists couldn't pass through, but I must have forgotten one on those steps. Feedback is much appreciated.

Wow, very interesting game! I really enjoyed using the death mechanic to get into places where a living character can't go
Good idea!
