should be fixed :)

should be fixed now :)

Thanks for letting me know!

I tested the game on multiple browsers, so it unfortunate to find that it is unplayable to some.

I guess ill have to solve this after the jam

A simple idea with many great levels that kept me playing for a long while. The art is amazing and you really managed to get a lot of good gameplay out of a few simple features

First of all, it should be illegal for a game jam game to look this good.

Second, the idea is very creative and was quite fun - although it felt like the gameplay could use some more features. Still i enjoyed it a lot, although it took me a while to remember how a rotary phone works lol

Amazing how such a simple idea can create so much fun. This is just a playground where you get to add in anything you want and have fun with it, and it gets more and more chaotic as you go. My only suggestion is to remove being "killed" (for example by sharks) entirely - it cuts the fun short. if getting hit by a shrk just launched me in the air instead, it would be much more exciting and on theme for the game

A narrative game is a bold choice for a game jam and i think you did a really good job!

the style is charming, and the idea is pretty creative - i want to see where this story goes!

The game looks very polished and was pretty satisfying. The level being really short kind of confused me though...

thank you :)

Thank you!
If there is one thing i leaned from this jam it's that no matter how easy you try to make it - as the developer you'll always struggle to understand what comes naturally and what doesnt to someone who's playing for the first time. I definitely could have spent more time teaching the mechanincs

The puppet-show theme is pretty cute! I know you only had 24 hours, but if you had more time here's what i think you could improve in your game:

Maybe give the chicken and egg different abilities / behaviours so the game changes depending on who you're playing as.

I seem to lose more points than i gain no matter what i do - maybe be a bit more generous with points :)

Good job on submitting a game in just one day!

Creative idea, and the tutorial had me laughing multiple times ("Thats your toolkit, fam" is now forever ingraved into my mind). Sadly I got stuck at the door with the button and couldn't figure out what to do.

Still your game is cool and the controls feel really nice!

Amazing game!!!

Through the first loop i was thinking to myself "wouldn't it be funny if they force me to remeber which cabinet I put each file in" and 5 seconds later I discover Thats exactly the point of the game. This is original, funny, looks and sound really good and most importantly - just plain fun!

(Not to brag, but I finished the game on my first try)

I'll start with the good, because there is a LOT of it:

Your game had me fully on board from the tutorial. The visuals are incredible (I stared at the main menu screen for a couple minutes lol) and the story really got me excited. Its a creative twist on the "stuck in a timeloop" idea, and the notes from your past iterations reminded me of my favorite games like Outer Wilds and Tunic. The pressure I felt going into this really had me excited to start deciphering. The line in the tutorial that said "if you know why you're here you know you should skip this message" (or something like that) especially made an impact.

I was a little dissappointed though to find I can just spam through the buttons to get the code right and I didn't actually need to do any puzzle solving.

There is definitely a good basis here for a time-loop puzzle game where it takes hundreds of iterations to get the right solution - its just missing the complex puzzle.

The artwork in this is really nice!

The character controls a bit sluggishly - you could add more gravity when falling to make the jumps feel less floaty (I'll link a video I really like about that below if you're interested - it can be applied to godot as well)

Still, great job!

Clicking "More Info" -> "Run Anyway" worked for me

The game looks and sounds amazing! The idea is creative and had me very excited to try it out. My only complaint is that the game is a bit too difficult and there is a lot of downtime and waiting while the train is going around the loop. Good work!

thanks! I certainly learned something making this game

Great atmosphere! I really felt tense in those moments where I had to go into the darkness for a moment to then just barely make it back to safety.

thank you!

nvm it's working :)

Creative idea, incredible presentation, amazing level design and funky music!

Great game overall.

Thank you! Did you manage to exit back to the game screen after playing the game? it doesn't work for me :(

I'm not sure exactly how much time I spent on this game but I'd say it was about 6-8 hours over 2 days

rated!

rated!

The gameplay was a little simple, but I liked the concept of the story! good job!

yeah I made the game in a couple hours so I didnt have time to properly set up a tutorial or instructions. Oops!

You have to press space right as you land

played and rated!

would love it if you could rate mine too: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-9/rate/1924318

Th graphics and music are cool and I liked the different abilities. I wish there was more reason to use all of them though

I had fun, good job!

It took me a while to beat even th first level, and I couldn't make it past the second, but the game is very good and very well designed!

the only thing it's missing is starting with a bit easier levels to teach the player how the game works before getting to the harder ones :)

now you don't have to but I'd be happy if you rated my game too: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-9/rate/1924318

I'm very close to 20 ratings :)

loved the game! it's a bit hard but I enjoyed trying to wrap my haed around where I should place each block and planning ahead!

good game! amazing that you made it in only two days!
