Good platformer with cool ghost mechanics, but it feels like sometimes when you die the mechanic glitches and doesn't push you away

A one life puzzle where you have to remember the path to the exit, but the sad thing is that the path is always the same, rather than adjusting to the path you originally made

The idea is awesome. Dying to get even more towers. I just don't like the aiming.
The generation also surprised me. Once I made a base with turrets and thus blocked the passage, but they destroyed them afterwards (slowly, but still).

I like that idea. Fighting with your "past". Too bad there are only 2 types of enemies, but it's a cool idea.

Unfortunately, the project has too many problems (mobility and event bugs, out of bounds text, flying textures of grass, when dying displays the message "to be continued") but do not get upset! Everyone starts somewhere, I wish further growth!

It immediately reminded me of Vampire Survivors. It's a shame there aren't many weapons. And the timer after victory is too long.

The game overall is not bad.

I didn't understand how to play from the get-go, but I figured it out later.

The game has problems, such as not understanding when the next wave of enemies, why the towers are getting weaker, etc., but overall not bad.

Also, the lack of sound does not allow you to fully engage in the game

It reminded me of an old flash game (I think with an elephant). Where there was a similar situation. Also the same room. A button in the middle. And every time you go through it, something changes. And that's cool. Especially liked the room with the golf :D

I did it in 621.46 seconds.

The idea is great, but the implementation is a bit of a letdown. The first thing I saw was for some reason an error with the cursor, also I did not quite understand what should happen after the "preparation" of the hall. As I understand it should appear heroes who will go through the maze that we have prepared?

On the whole, if completed, it would make a very unique game.

Whoa, that was hard... Not in terms of the puzzle, but getting everything done in time)

A very simple, in some ways obvious idea, but I loved it! I hope other people don't miss this game either!

Wow, that's a very interesting approach to the gamejam topic! I should have read the comments, but yes, I too made a universe without Earth for the first time and got caught up in the bug)
Regardless, my experience remained extremely positive, very simple idea but uniqueness is off the charts
I have yet to see a character voiceover among the projects that I rated!

I hope other people will play this game, because it really deserves attention

I like the fact that you can use the shurikens to build yourself ladders, but the restart button doesn't reset them. Also, if you're defeated, the shurikens stay in place, and the old killed enemies do not respawn. It would have been more lvl I would have passed them all :D

Well, and the bonus of collecting lanterns classic. Just want to collect them all.

The game as an overall good and I enjoyed going through it.

Quite an original idea. Where you're essentially making bullet hell for yourself. The idea itself is cool but the theme of the GameJam could have been described better. Add more cards and fix bugs with mana (as it is strange that the choice of card and cast card wastes mana)

Thanks for the review!

Wow, very detailed review, thank you so much
After all, I'm going to continue developing after the gamjam and reviews like this are really helpful! Thanks again:3

Thank you, really... I will definitely follow your example and take the time this weekend to play all the games I can(and rate them) and sorry if I went a little overboard

Thank you so much! I'll keep trying, I'll also definitely watch your game when I have time, busy right now

I would love to do what you wrote about when I have time. But I don't see anything wrong with using the approach as separate posts

So you're asking to do the same Rate to Rate without using specific posts...? So what's the difference in using them then. And I don't see that you're doing a lot of game grading, bruh
Also it's work days, do you have time to look for games?

You do realize that grading is often the purpose of coming to gamejam. To get an estimate of your abilities, to test yourself...

How can I tell if I did well or not if I'm not being rated?)

also look at the scores of my game, how very much attention was taken away?)

So is there a limited number of grades or what? I don't understand.

Wow, what a nice experience, working for a week, drawing all the sprites from scratch, all scripts, UI and getting 0 reviews

100% agree
It's not like we're saying, "Rate everything an 5."

We are asking for a rating as such, even if the grade is 1 in all categories
Because otherwise our game is not found and, accordingly, the result of the gamejam for us is a disappointment

Stop trying to shut down the last working method of getting your projects rated

So please, if you're lucky and your game is appreciated without such measures, you're in luck! I so wish I didn't have to beg for votes to know how good/bad my game is

Just "Rate to Rate" does not mean that the rating is inflated, I was giving everyone a fair rating based on their projects
And I expect the same from the people who evaluated my game.

I believe that Rate to Rate posts are in some ways all that can save small projects
Like, my project before I started participating in such posts was viewed by... 0 people.

Awesome, how cool, how convenient, how much experience and appreciation gamejam gave me
And at the same time NO ONE has played the game for nothing at the moment

You can try playing the Web version of the game:

Oh, hi.
You made a tower defense too! If you're willing, check mine out, your game will be rated soon!

https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-9/rate/1933697

Thanks anyway

Strangely, so far this problem has not arisen with anyone, although outside the gamejam it has played a lot of people… Maybe the problem is in the file access permission? The game needs to record the save between the levels

Thanks, I hope to continue development after the gamejam!

Thank you, your opinion is very important to me! Your game is amazing!

Hi! Thanks for the rating, already rated yours too!

Great game! Really, no kidding.
Thanks for creating it!

Wow, very interesting game! Won the last best game on my list, very relaxing. Always loved simulators and didn't think I needed a tree simulator in my life)

I've just started so far, so describing the initial feelings, but I'll probably keep this game on my PC until I have a full playthrough, thanks!
