How does your game fit the theme?
It is a story about what happens when the universe ends. I have made a small bug fix for the game, it change nearly nothing but it fix dumb little bug.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I have made every thing for this jam

Intresting game! I think it's really impressive that you added voice acting. Some stuff you could add:
1. Subtitles, they would make the game more accessible
2. Fix some minor grammer mistakes in the voice acting
3. Make it a bit faster, the game kinda feels slow rn
Overall, Nice Job!
I played through this game a couple of times to try out different options and overall enjoyed it quite a lot. As said by others it's quite different to other submissions and predominantly revolves around dialogue, which i found funny and refreshing honestly. This games dialogue options and the lighthearted take on such a heavy philosophical topic has likeness to shows like Rick and Morty. The Infinite Monkey Ghost was an interesting character not sure what inspired it but I suppose i also cannot argue with what you might see when the universe ends. I found the explosion at the beginning visually quite impressive but agree with others that I would've liked to have maybe some visual development of the new universe you imagine with the Infinite Monkey Ghost. What you did was really impressive but felt there was some incentive or reasoning missing for us as the player, maybe it doesn't need one that's just my opinion.
Overall a strong concept for the game jam and executed in a fun manner I'd like to see this game develop as it was genuinely a refreshing feeling to play a more dialogue driven game especially in todays industry climate. I'd be interested to hear what you intended for the player in this game?
Also some philosophical works that may supplement some of your ideas:
Epicurus' arguments on Fear of Death
Cosmological Argument
Universal Causation
I hope the feedback helps and look forward to what's to come!
Thank you for playing the game. I'm happy to hear that you like it.
I love playing around with what games are, and then I love telling silly stories. The last games I have made have been dark and sad, and therefor I wanted to make something that I at least find funny.
I don't see this games as been heavily philosophical. But we live an a time where a lot people believe we are doomed, and we are near the end of everything. So if we really are doomed, what would we do if we could restart it all.
For me the Infinite Monkey Ghost represent the unknown. If there is something when every else disappears, why not a Infinite Monkey Ghost.
I thought about showing the new world that was created, but instead I let the Infinite Monkey Ghost tell you what will happen, and does it not really matter, because this new universe will also end and restart. For some weird reason I find it really funny that there is only one way stop this circle of restarting the universe, and it is really dumb. It's also therefor I was really sad when I saw that I have made a small programmer bug, that stop the game, if you don't creates a new Earth, and it's also therefor I recommend to play my bug fixed version of the game.
What the incentive for playing and keep playing the game is pretty simple, and it's all about hearing what will happen if you make the differentchoices. I know seeing what will happen, would have been better for many people, but I think it's also great to use our imagination. I am also sure my kind of humor is not something for everybody, and if you don't like it, then incentive to play the game is general very small.
But any way, I will again say, thank you for playing the game, and thank you for the feedback.
Def an original idea. The voicework is great! Really well done here!
The voice acting & dialog was surprisingly enjoyable. Great work!
Great voice acting work, it took me by surprise! Had a blast playing, however, the game could use subtitles. Otherwise, it fits the theme well.
i like the voices and options, it fits the theme and a really great game
Thank you for playing the game. I am happy you liked it.
VERY original game!! Loved it. Really simplistic, great voice acting, I had fun, got caught in the bug, took different decisions. Just wished there were subtitles.
Long live infinite blue monkey ✊
Wow, that's a very interesting approach to the gamejam topic! I should have read the comments, but yes, I too made a universe without Earth for the first time and got caught up in the bug)
Regardless, my experience remained extremely positive, very simple idea but uniqueness is off the charts
I have yet to see a character voiceover among the projects that I rated!
I hope other people will play this game, because it really deserves attention
I didn't see the bug fix version so maybe this was the bug you fixed but after asking the infinite monkey what happens to the universe nothing happened, i just sat there for 5 minutes staring at the monkey. Either way i enjoyed your approach to the jam. I do feel like there isn't much of a game here, more like an interactive story. (this is just my opinion since I'm not really a fan of decision based games like Detroit: become human). Still interesting to play though, good work with the narration too.
It is the bug, and it probably happen because you did not make a earth. I actorly sees interactive story as been games, but I know some people don't do that, and that is okay.
Felt like the one episode of futurama where they used time machine and looped around like twice around time and seen the bigbang many times.
Really unique entry. Many would just use text for this type of game, narration is way better.
Thank you for playing the game.
I had a good laugh at your intro and enjoyed the naratives. Quite bold to have narations like that, but it was pretty well executed !
I'm just sad we don't get to see the universe we're creating, would be even cooler to see it getting built as we speak, but I understand that this is much to ask for the time constraints :)
Also there's a typo somewhere, after you specify you want like 200 planets, if you want to confirm the choice you have to say "make the stars/plantes"
I ran into the classic time issue, so my game was first done about 10 minutes before the deadline, so I am not surprised if there is a few mistakes .
And of cause a thank you for playing and leaving some feedback on my game.
Not bad, a pretty neat game. Well done.
Sooo, this was quite the unique experience I've never seen before. I had quite the laughter at it and find it amusing to watch. Nice work!
Nice game, quite funny! Very happy to be able to create a universe with NO Earth in it!
Very good
I Like the philosophy behind this back-and-forth, good job!
I have made a small bug fix for the game, it change nearly nothing but it fix dumb little bug. You find it here https://jk5000.itch.io/thistheendsmall
