  • Loved the Graphics and the mood of the game, I think, graphics and music fitted really well to create the atmosphere of the game. I just got lost about what is my objective, should I go left, right, up or just hanging from one hook to another?

Which song(s) did you choose for the theme and how did you incorporate it/them?
Inspired from the chiptune style to make a highscore game

Which parts of the game did you create BEFORE the jam STARTED?
Nothing

Which parts of the game did you NOT create?

Great game concept, with a few more items and platforms would become even better, good job.

I love the feel you got with the grappling and swinging. Very satisfying. The art looks amazing as well. Highest score I could get was 33.

At first I thought I was supposed to be going somewhere, but I figured it out eventually. The game felt great to play, and is a seriously impressive feat for just one day!

Hey fellow devs, maker of the other Hooked here. I really liked your game. Love the art and the feel of the game and the simple control scheme of just pressing space to grapple and releasing it to releasing the grapple. One thing that bugged me was that, though I understand this is a score based game, but it would have been better to have the character grapple to reach somewhere or maybe collect some thing. Because while playing your game I kept wondering why the hell is the character even grappling around? He could just stand on the platform which is right there to be safe. And many a times the grapple points are spawned off the screen which made me feel I'm not in total control. Maybe you can have the camera follow the character. This way there could also be a goal to move upwards to escape this radioactive chamber.

This game looks amazing. And the grappling hook feels great. It was a little difficult to understand what i was supposed to do at first but then i got the hang of it. While having a score based game like this is great, i think it would work better with levels. Otherwise, great game, keep it up!

Feel free to check out my submission and give some feedback, i would really appreciate it!

It's really good and the feel of the game is really nice. The art style is really cool as well. I would make the range at which hooking spots spawn a bit shorter, as some spawn off screen. Aside from that, the overall style and quality is amazing!

Its a neat idea, however I'm not a fan of the random hooking spots - its seems to be up to chance. Great graphics!
