Basically the idea is nice. If I am allowed to make some recommendations:

The move sound should not be played on each step because it gets annoying really fast.

There is this moving mechanic where I first have to rotate and then I need another button press to get the bot into movement. This is super counter intuitive for me.

I would not recommend to need a key press for each little step of movement. I got tired very fast to explore more big maps with tiny steps.

Did I had too do something, als the arrows move from right to left in the circle? I pressed the WASD keys and got through the puzzle, but I did not felt like there was any response.

Good idea but the levels are too long for nothing (feels like a walking simulator) and the bang-bang-bang sound gets very annoying.

Cute graphics. I wasnt sure if i was supposed to be moving on the off beats or on beats it seemed to change each level and got frustrating, but i liked the visuals alot!

Hey, thamks a lot for you comment,  I updated the game so it is more easier now if you want to give it another try :)

Nice visuals, but very confusing game mechanics, you need to get beaten to understand it. Development build by the way :D

Developer

Yup haha, got a hard time coding it and I made it a bit too much difficult.

The game looks and sounds good, but the detection part is quite difficult, as other snwhd said would be nice if you add some tries specially for a game jam.

Developer(+1)

Yeah as everyone said I made it a little bit too difficult, when developing I rapidly got the habit of moving in rhythm so I was not aware that it was this difficult. I just updated so it is easier now.

I love the cover art, but that game was waaay to hard for me! Maybe having a bit more feedback to know if I was early or late could help?

Developer

Sorry for the wait, I've added feedback and made the whole game a lot more easier, hope it helps

Love the presentation here, especially the simplicity of the intro screen, walking out from the rows of bots! The detection is pretty tough, as someone who is bad at rhythm games in general. Maybe it could use 3 strikes and you restart to make it a bit easier.

And what a great title ;)

Developer

Hey! Thanks for the kind comment, I updated the game so it is easier for everyone, even made an indicator so you can see when to move. hope it helps!

I have to try your game now that I saw this amazing title

I think I need a little help, I can't move consistently. I assume you have to step whenever a machine makes a noise so the sound detection doesnt hear you? It detected me almost all the time.

Developer

yeah sorry, it's a bit difficult I will try to fix it when I get the time to. But it's still doable 🙃

I wanna give you another go for a higher rating, any tips on when I should move exactly?

Developer

Hey! Just updated so it is easier, if you want to try again :)

Did you accidentally do it the wrong way round? It only lets me walk when its quiet in the room. Shouldn't the game mechanic be that the footsteps are covered up by the machine sound?

Developer

yeah it should be ? I checked before and it looked fine, I will check again. Thanks for playing again 😅
