I, too, am a fan of Vimlark's videos! I'm glad I stuck it out. At first I thought, this isn't so tough. Then I kept falling at the worst points and it just made me want to make it to the goal even more. Well done. I had a really fun time with this.

- The mechanic you've made here is simple but very expandable, and it seems almost exploitable, which is a great carrot for many players. Interested to see how other platformer mechanics could interact with this!

Cool mechanic! Simple to learn but you could spend hours perfecting how to use it. I think you could make the art look better as well by putting in some textures on the back wall, but overall a great entry - and thanks for playing my game too!
such a fun game. the gameplay was challenging but fair and it was cool finally getting the hang of it and rising to the top.
I beat level 1! I feel like I cheated a bit using the solid red walls to bite and launch haha :)
I like this game. Inside the body is definitely a unique environment, lots of room to take this further for sure, and I would definitely be interested in playing more levels. As for constructive feedback, If you want to take this forward I think you could definitely look into what kind of visual juice you can add around background textures/layers, particles (especially things like fluids etc), camera stuff, etc.
I know this isn't a gameplay round, but I did enjoy the mechanics, it was difficult but not super frustrating, I think you got a good balance which can be difficult in a gamejam.
Great entry! And congrats on your first solo jam!
This was tough, took a while to get used to the mechanics. But it was fun.
Creative! Unique! Also difficult, ha didn’t make it too far.
Also minor note that you can mark the build in itch as being for windows, as right now the itch desktop client isn’t letting me download it (had to manually download and then go through the ‘warning maybe malware’ whole thing)
The movement in this game was VERY FUN and VERY REWARDING to get the hang of. I'd love to see more levels and the location is super unique and interesting to me. I definitely see a lot of potential in a fully realised game where a parasite uses various means to travel around different parts of a host's body. Very fun gem. If I were to add any constructive feedback, perhaps the visual design (textures, vfx, etc.) could be more "fleshed out" (pun intended) to really sell the unique level location.
oh my god thank you so much! im happy my jam is going well so far :) also about the "fleshed out" visual design, i definitely agree, but im a beginner programmer and beginner in the engine im using so i dont actually know how to do the things i wanted to, but thank you again! i will try to make it better in the next round :)
