The wilderness was really cool visually. But all of that walking around got tedious really fast. It would be better if there was at least more dialog, or events happening around the map as you walk. Really fits the N64 vibe well though, except for the pond at the beginning which looks way too good. lol. Nicely done.

Amazing eerie vibes, you did a great job making the area feel like vast wilderness. I'll need to revisit to see if I can get to the end but I did find a pretty freaky lake

This has fantastic ambience, and I'm impressed by how big the map is! I wandered around for a good 15 minutes before finding the camp. Some feedback:

- The UI is a little jarring being plastered at the bottom of the screen

- Some walking/jumping SFX would add even more to the game feel

- The should the lock the mouse cursor.

Enjoyed it overall!

The esthetic and the ambiance is really good. I got a strange graphical glitch with the HUD when I started the game in 2560x1600 (windows 10), where the image was just blurry and unreadable. With a lower resolution, it worked fine. Good job!

Thank you. I'm going to add a new update to the game soon. As for resolutions I have no idea. Biggest I've run it on is 1280x854. Very oldschool unity version 2. Maybe it doesn't support newer resolutions

Gotta confess I was a bit disappointed that the game requires a 64-bit PPC, but it's only fair; we're going for 64-bit graphics, after all. But still, the fact remains that this is probably the jam with the most Mac PPC games in the history of itch.io! (my game runs on 32-bit PPC).

As for the game itself, it really nailed the visual aspect of the N64! My only criticiscm is that the backdrops fade too quickly under the fog, dispelling the illusion. I also could not find any arrow?

Tested the game with both a Macbook 08 and a Mac Mini 07, both running Lion.

hello thanks for the msg. I'm pretty sure the lowest supported system is 10.3.9. I'm going to tweak the graphics on this when I get a chance and add some particle effects. Cheers

On the note nearly all my games run on ppc. Very basic more just atmospheric adventures. I'm currently working on something for G3 chips

I was actually unaware of 64-bit G3s, but I'm not an expert on the subject.

How did you build it?

My project is a Xcode 2.5 project and I select the 10.4 Universal project; otherwise, it would support 10.3 as well. Heck, if you have the machine to test, I would gladly provide you with a binary to test.

I only have a PowerMac G4 Digital Audio with Tiger to test PPC stuff. It's actually the most treasured item in my computer collection 😅

it's just a 14 year old version of unity. So can build for systems of the time. Yes my g4 powerbook is the pride of my fleet
