Really solid and polished game you have here! Controller works really well and bonus points for adding support for it. I did kind of mess myself up in the beginning and had to start over because I didn't realize that ladders were limited haha. I do kind of wish I could hold the button down to have the guy keep picking away instead of having to press the button for every swing. It's okay in a shorter experience like this but if it were a game I was playing for hours and hours my fingers would be killing me after all the button mashing!

Wow! Thanks so much for playing and streaming it! It was a lot of fun to watch you enjoying the game... In case you didn't go back to it, the level 5 pickaxe allows you to mine gems, but they are few and far between - also lower down in the map ;) I got a load of great ideas from your stream, including a depth meter and minimap being useful tools (I already had waypoints on my list of ideas!). To complete the game you need to collect 5 gems, and then you get a nice results screen :D

Thanks very much! Yes I quite enjoyed making it, and although I didn't use all of the time available to me in the jam (I had to swap to the Kenney Jam for the last couple of days) I was pleased with how much polish I was able to add.
Completely understandable man, I also did a whole other jam right in the middle of this one. You did a great job!
I really like the art style altho the controls are really annoying for keyboard. Very polished.
Sorry to hear that you didn't like the controls. I think that having the ability to remap the keys would be a good addition, but out of interest, what key layout would you have preferred?
I would have prefered the mouse buttons being used to dig.

Great game ! I almost lost track of the time. Ther were some visuals artefact but i don't understand why they appear. I had a lot of fun. Good job !
Glad you enjoyed it. Were the artifacts in the ground tiles? I saw some glitching in the stream that RonJonesTheArtist has posted up above - is that the thing you encountered also?
Great game overall. The overall gameplay loop was pretty fun but it was getting a little tedious climbing back up since I would be going pretty deep. I would've wished there was a "back to surface" kind of button.
Thanks for playing! That's a pretty good suggestion... maybe I could add some sort of fast travel system that was expensive to buy, so it would only be available at a later point in the game... 🤔

I feel like since it's not focused around platforming, Guy's jump could afford to be a little floatier.
