I had a few bugs in the start, but loved the insertion of 2d handdrawn art into a 3d environment. The music goes very well and adds the right amount of ridiculousness to it.

Really love this one!

After I understood the mechanics, I was very engaged, and played for a while.

If you ever expand, adding more twists and things to check like in "Papers Please" would make this even better.

I had a lot of trouble throwing the dice into the trash, a lot of times when I found a fake dice, the customer would leave because I had so much trouble getting the dice to the trash.

Still, incredible job on your entry!

The trashcan bug was fixed in a later build and we'll upload it after the jam is done.  Also, yeah, we had some talks about adding more subtle mechanics in future builds as well

I wish you could have a VR version of the game))
It would perfectly fit the game.
I would prefer timer more than shift, because I m just a stupid player and don't want to think too much and don't want to feel myself like at real work +)
But it's okay! I still enjoyed it.

The best thing is that you actually do a lot of things and need to design what to do next. Not all games have that because they regularly do simple games with 1 straight mechanic and tunnel gameplay. You kinda have a clear goal like in other games, but the gameplay itself feels different and much better than in other games! Good job!

The one thing I would change is the size of the text on tips. I have a pretty big monitor, but I still have problems to read them.

Overall pretty well-made game!

Hi there,

Thanks for your feedback! One of the first things we discussed in our team after creating the first build of the game, was that it could be great in VR, but for now, we are just trying to build the non-VR version, fix bugs, and add mechanics etc...

In terms of the text size, we understand that it has been a problem for many people. We are looking at implementing a system with smaller sticky notes in the world, that you can click on in order to bring them up larger on your screen to read. I think this would help to resolve this problem.

Thanks again for your feedback!

I threw the dice in the bin and it's not doing anything :( My client is doomed to wait for eternity.

Thanks so much for the feedback!

We are currently collecting bugs to patch in the next release of the game, thanks for raising these issues.

Well, let me know when it's out :) It's really fun.

Very cute game! Could easily be expanded with new rulesets, fake dice, and extra challenges!

I'd also recommend adding a timer for how long the shift lasts and maybe adding a time bonus for handling customers quickly (while correctly). I wish there was a notification when you missed a cheater and with a reason why, because I did miss some people but I wasn't sure who I missed

Side note for Sen: Is that "Adult" Vincent Adultman from Bojack Horseman? If so, lovely reference!

I’d also recommend adding a timer for how long the shift lasts

That’s what the clock for! Shift lasts from 18:00 till 00:00, we’ll add a tutorial, where you can learn these things ingame

Submitted(+1)

ah fair enough, I wasn't too sure when the shift ended so I stopped looking at the clock, but having that be said somewhere would add a lot!

I really liked the concept and presentation! The game was nicely implemented and very fun to play. Really enjoyable!

Thanks for your feedback, I am glad you enjoyed it!

Papers, please. Oh, sorry! Dices, please.

Btw, game is really cool, but in the first attempt, it's very difficult to determine how to accept someone, or how to track who is a "fake" and who is "real". But it gets better and better over time! Good job, dudes! :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! We have plans to build a better tutorial in the next version of the game. I am glad you think it is cool!

The mix of 2d and 3d is always nice to look at. In Games and Movies. Also a very cool and unique interpretation of the theme. I like the animated title screen/pre titlescreen animation/settings but i wish there was an option to turn it off as it's a bit annoying the 3rd time. Also in the first moments of gameplay its not clear how to "accept" someone. That could be clearer with some visuals (arrows) showing you what to do the first time.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! The intro can be skipped by pressing enter or space. In regards to mechanics, yeah we should have a tutorial but we didn't have much time to implement that.

Submitted(+2)

I meant not just the intro but the animations between the title screen and the settings menu :)

Developer

will speed them up!

Thanks for playing! I'm really happy that you liked the art style and blend of 2D and 3D assets. We have plans to build a better tutorial in the next version of the game, and highlights or arrows are a good suggestion.

I enjoyed your character art and your interpretation of the prompt! I was playing on a laptop so I think that messed with the resolution a bit and made the post-its hard to read. Nice game overall though!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, the sharpening is not so good because we exported for GLES-2, which has less graphical stuff, but runs better on browser.
