Nice controls but the route was confusing, without the hints/walkthrough, I wouldn't have gotten as far as I did (6 deaths).
But overall, reasonably fun, well polished but a bit "old school" in the trial and error puzzle solving (and having to do something multiple times to get a result), I'd be on UHS for every step for this!

Thanks for the feedback! I did try to find the sweet spot between "nothing is really hard, just find all the deaths easily" and "how the hell do I progress here" :P

Excellent platformer with unique mechanics. The art and the music are top tier in my opinion. The gameplay is very smooth and it's not tedious to die over and over again. I like the mechanics. One thing that I wasn't very fond of was the level design. It could be so much better with the mechanics that you have. I could tell there's a lot of ambition here with the things you wanted to do. But overall this game is wonderful and I give it top marks.

How do I say this... You're a genius, and this game is a masterpiece.

I absolutely love how you incorporated the theme of the jam. Death has some really cool dialogue lines, and the means of death are so creative! I got all 20, plus the true ending, but I got to say it took some trial and error, but in the end that's what made it so fun. (I was especially stuck and, I guess you could say flabbergasted, when I tried shooting death with the power-up gun that I was soooo proud of getting, and Death just laughed in my face! I was pissed and impressed, because it fit so well)

While I played this, I had my boyfriend in the background, laughing himself breathless with me at some of the silly things I did (and which worked!!!), like trying to eat everything in sight, or dying of boredom. We both agree this game was amazing.

There's no high enough rating for what I believe this game deserves, so I guess a full 5-star rating will have to do. Keep up the great work!

Like the game but felt like every obstacle I died at was just waiting for me. Then didnt mean much afterwards. Liked the concept though

Thanks for the feedback. You are right - some of the items have no use after the first or second death. I tried to add some fun to it by placing character lines in places where you can find a good use for an item that doesn't lead to a death :)

I wanted to end the game... I can't get on the prison... I am at 19 deaths... darn it Every death was overlooked by me, so i needed the hints because I have no brain :D

Oh man the prison part is really tricky :O I put the hints because I was getting the notion that this game is too hard for a short game jam. I hope you got to see the true end in the end :)
