The game is a bit to dark but looks and works great.  I very much like the atmosphere.

Apart from maybe being a little too dark, really solid game

It was a bit too laggy on my pc so was unable to really enjoy it. I gave a rating based on the video. It looks awesome.Well done.

The game feels pretty solid overall. Honestly, it very impressive you are able to build all of this in few days!!

The shooting feels very solid - good job with that! It felt a little dark and the flashlight was pointing at quite a low angle so I usually died without knowing where the zombies were. It might be nice to have an indicator for where the last zombie is too as I was searching for a while haha. But overall well done on the submission and keep making games 馃槑

Great job.  The lighting is amazing!  Very scary.

It's okay. I am not much for a zombie shooter. I felt you executed it well. Just like the zombie game from those Call of Duty games. I think the team would be very proud. Great job.

The cod zombies was my soul inspiration for this game so that's made my day hearing that observation.

Thanks so much for playing and leaving feedback :D

Played and rated.

I enjoyed playing it for a while. It gets a bit hard after wave 3 haha.

Pros

  • Audio effects are nice overall
  • Visuals are looking good

Cons

  • It's a bit too dark in my opinion
  • No visual cue when the next wave is starting

Overall great game but with some more feedback and better visibility I think it improve :)

Would appreciate if you check out and rate our game as well: https://hadilepanda.itch.io/rise-of-necromancy

Thanks so much!

I do have a wave countdown function which i can add a visual prompt too but i will do that in another version out of the jam.

Lighting was a real challenge for me in this project so definetly something i will be striving to improve in the future versions.

Keeping the scene dark was my idea to hiding imperfections you might see in the animations, sounds ect but i will keep all of this in mind moving forward. Thanks again for the feedback :D

Nice idea mechanically, having to run around to get what you need most and inevitably risking getting trapped because of it, good stuff. In terms of advice, I just think the base ammo amount could be a little higher :)

Developer

Thankyou, unfortunatly i didn't have the time to implement different weapons. Could i have achieved that then the balancing would be greater but definetly will be improving in the future. Thanks for the feedback and i will check your submission asap!

I recognized Mixamo?  I used the same page in my game! ;)

Really like your game!  The atmosphere is creepy, the sounds and music are perfect for the game,

I would recommend some visual effect when you are injured, like some blood in the border of the screen, or something like that.  When you are immersed in the game, killing zombies left and right, you don't pay attention to your health bar.

Will you expand it after the jam?  Please, do so!

Developer

Yes sir, Mixamo really saved my life as a solo dev. I hope to see more resources like it in the future as open source as it really is powerful! Thanks for the feedback i will be continuing this project in time to come so i will keep you posted!
