If you'd like to let others know which cover you're making a game for to help avoid having too many people jumping on the same cover design, feel free to let folks know here!

I'm trying to tackle a "Americana" game about a rural order of investigators using the Lighthouse Keepers (MCJ2Cover3.png) cover.

That's awesome! I actually ran a session of Dust Wardens by Nora Blake for Gauntlet Con in 2018 in an americana/midwest roadtrip setting with biker gang paranormal investigators/witches I called "The Lighthouse Keepers." It's excellent imagery.

Hi Michael! Would you be okay with someone else (well, me) making a game using the same cover, or would you prefer not to have doubles? (My concept is fairly different, I think — a TQY-inspired one about horrors in the deep.)

No worries. Given my track record of keeping up jam promises, I wouldn't want to block anyone ;)

ahaha, this is a mood — I hope we both get ours done though because yours sounds so good!

I'm planning to use "6 trials of the weavers"!

I'd like to use Faerie Gardens for a game based on the Slow Fire system.

Submitted(+3)

I have an idea for Where Crimson Flowers Bloom.

I thought of you when I saw that cover - feels like a spiritual successor to last year's entry!

Submitted

I definitely felt like it was made for me! I almost picked another one just to not be territorial about it, but the other cover I was thinking about got claimed and I had an idea starting for this one.

It will carry some familiar images/language from Where the Sky’s as Red as Honey that may loosely suggest they share a world.

That's fun! Gotta say, I wasn't specifically thinking of that cover when I made this one, but serendipitous nonetheless!

I'll grab Those Letters to Nowhere!

I’d like to claim Rowan Queen Blues, please!

Submitted(+2)

I like to try my hand on 'To keep ghosts alive'. If feels like a solo or maybe more of a correspondence ttrpg to me.

i would love to make something for lamplighter's festival!

I think I'd like to use The Sketchy Hedgehog's Cover submission, "The Rising" for something!

/EXCITED EMOJI

Time is not on my side but I'm into the Sacred Geometry one!

Submitted(+1)

I have a few vague ideas for a handful of Yuri's and Sketchy Hedgehog's covers, but we'll see what time allows. I might just make a few covers and call it good. We'll see!

Submitted(+1)

I started working on something for We Were Stars.

I'm very into Those Letters To Nowhere and Lighthouse Keepers, but just want to check that it's not a faux pas to use covers other people are already planning on making games with? The first post says 'to avoid too many people jumping on the same covers' but I want to be sure that doesn't mean 'only one person per cover'!

It's probably best to reach out to whoever's using the cover you want and see if they're fine with it. I personally don't mind.

Seriously thinking about A Champion and Her Liege. Not sure I'll have time before the deadline though, so if you have eyes on the cover I can step aside.

I'm working on Down Among the Dreaming from Sketchy Hedgehog's set.

Submitted

I am grabbing Eostre's Curse for sure.

Submitted

Actually, is it possible to submit more than one game? The other few I found like are Forbidden Psalms For The Wretched, FELL & High Mind.

HostSubmitted(+1)

If you think you have the time for it, feel free. Though I should say I'm working on sth for Forbidden Psalms for the Wretched

Submitted

Wonderful! In that case I will give my shot at FELL & High Mind.

Submitted

I know this is ending like in some hours, but I'm claiming brumal/vernal

I'm not sure if I'll be able to do what I have in mind in time for this, but I'll do the game anyway.

So this may sound odd, but is it fine to submit more games with the covers AFTER the Jam is done? I really did like the other covers but I sadly just ran out of time to get them done and tested. Will this be an issue?

HostSubmitted(+1)

It should probably be fine as long as you give proper credit to the designer. You won't be able to submit them to the jam but I'm personally fine with folks publishing a game using one of my covers for this after the jam is finished. Though hopefully the week's extension will help!

I made and will submit a game using Sketchy Hedgehog's cover "Cry for the Slaughter." I ran out of steam on my idea using "We Were Stars," so I won't be submitting anything for that.
