The game is very basic but it looks great, the control feel responsive and I liked the music too!

very impressive!

This turned out well and I hope you reflect on the experience as a positive one... You should be glad to have put something out there and for being part of this jam.

The songs were charming and quirky and the sprite work is a plus.

Also... The crackling you hear is a bug in Godot's HTML exporter. Either we have to wait for Godot 4.0, or edit the HTML files after export. (Not tried this yet, though: https://3p0ch.newgrounds.com/news/post/1148893)

Play any of my games on itch and you'll hear it (on Chrome, that is.) Certainly annoying but hopefully that workaround, well, works!

Definitely will have to look into that, thanks for the link. The audio is about the only thing keeping me on the fence about Godot. Here's to us hopefully getting some non-glitchy audio soon! Also, yes, I'm still quite glad with what I've made. It's some of the most polished looking art I've made and really makes me want to try to do some more with this before I move on. I should probably change how I worded things as I forgot that it's hard to translate a more comedic tone in text form. Glad you liked what was here

Man, I really like your sprite work!  The color scheme, the pixel style in general all looks very clean.  Also this is the only game I've won and stuck around for to hear a song for!  It was great, really interesting/unique jam entry.  Great job!

This rabbit kicked my ass too many times. I probably suck. But even then, this boss fight lacks telegraphing.

The rest of the game is cool and reasonably polished, although the sound stutters. The "you died" song made me crack a smile, though. Good job on this one.

You officially found a way to make dying more fun than actually playing the game! This song is amazing! same goes for winning.

If I would be a nitpicking arsehole, wich I am, then I would probably say this game was bad. There is no animation on the boss, the boss has way to many HP and... well...

Fortunately, none of this is true! This game is absolutely amazing!

I also really like that you allow for gamepads, this gives this a real zelda like feel and it's amazing. Maybe change the colour of the font on your game page as it is kinda hard to read..?

Anyhow, absolutely amazing game, one of the best games I've played in pretty much every Jam I've joined so far!

Really love the art style...

The game kinda too short..
