I really enjoyed the atmosphere. It was neat to figure out how things interact. :)
Really pretty game! I really like the idea of a chill camping experience. I feel like the dog should be with you no matter what though.
Liked the big-pixel graphic and the atmosphere, without some bugs I encountered I'd spend lot more time with it. The bugs are the card shifting to the side when you collect lot fo things and then drop some (some cards even went off screen), and the combine method not always working (got the stones down to build a firepalce one time, then couldn't replicate it in any way in a differente play).
Without bugs and with a deep "tree" of combination, this could become a game in which to sink a good amount of time, good work
Good job on this! I also had trouble figuring out the items, but like most jam games I think the concept is there. The "klunkiness" of combining items and such does give me the same feelings I get while camping - there's a general wonder how anything works or how you would survive if not for society.
Thanks for submitting this, I enjoyed it quite a bit! :)
I didn't seem to understand how to combine card i.e. to make a campfire :) The game looks amazing, i'd be glad to try it out again if you explain
Hi! Thanks for checking our game out! :)
The control scheme is admittedly a little complicated but it's the only way we could make it work reliably. To make a campfire, you first make a firepit by putting a stone on the ground by selecting the stone card and right-clicking on the ground near the player. Then you select another stone card and left-click the stone you placed on the ground (or you can just use a stone that's already on the ground). Same then with using logs in the firepit using left-click etc :)
It's always left-click to pick up and combine, right-click to drop some items on the ground.
Hope this helps!
