I liked the story in this one, you said a lot with just animations . The music fits well too.

The game really opened up strong with gorgeous animation, I was actually quite taken aback by how detailed your intro cutscene was, the graphics and story were actually quite beautiful.
You really made the audience see the love from a mother to her children and it made you really dislike that little bully.

I thought your introduction to the movement controls was very cleverly displayed as the cutscene showed the journey back home to the nest. When I finally took control I was actually a little confused. I really wasn't sure what I had to do, sadly it was by coincidence that when I hit him I took damage too by his slingshot, this happened a few times in a row down to just bad timing and so I believed it was the wrong thing to do, I eventually lost and tried again.

The second time playing, I knew what to expect and was careful and eventually understood hitting him as shown by your feedback of him turning red when it was actually working.

Having to restart the game from the beginning and rewatch the super adorable intro was a shame though.

Overall very polished good looking game. Great job!

I think it's the first time that I saw an actual story based game in this jam. Nice music, the game is pretty simple but it uses the limitation well. Good job!

nice short game, only thing i can suggest is to have like a launching animation or something to indicate when the farmer launches his pebble and maybe indicate when the player isnt in a cutscene anymore, but other that that solid experience!

No one will fail to understand this plot, which is very nice. Adding battle mode is one that i didn't expect, and that's very great!

Super cute! Very well presented and I like the small touch of being able to control the bird a little even during the flight cutscene. Storytelling is done nicely via animations without any text. The only thing lacking is in the gameplay but overall, really good effort!

Cute, lols the farmer with the slingshot, anyways I chased him off after like 3 hearts of damage to me.

The art style was amazing and the cut scenes were super cute! I would have liked an explanation of what to do to the guy as the controls were explained well but i didn't know to swoop down at him until i had 1 life left. Pooping on him would have also been a fun concept.

Awesome storytelling! Teaching the player the controls during the cutscene is a great idea!

I could've used some more gameplay at the end, ie: more farmers/weapons/levels.

Overall love the submission and the use of the limitation!
