Thanks for the feedback! the combination for that level is green + blue

Oh good point I didn't even think about being able to restart after finishing the level, oof :)

Love the concept and the way the attempts transition into one another.

I wish there were more abilities, and I think being able to switch colors might be nicer than waiting for a timer.

But I really loved the art. nice submission

I like the concept!

I got the same crash as BibleClinger, also it felt like there was lag every time the shot reset

but I like the UI, the feedback when you hit / sink balls and the text notifications.

Nice submission

Loved the 3D pixel look!

The lack of feedback when shooting something combined with the amount of shots taken to kill an enemy made me think the game was broken at first. I also wish there was a sensitivity slider, I think FPS games generally need them.

Loved the visuals, and the rail shooter is a great way to implement the prerequisite! nice submission

I really like the concept and the theme!

I think it could do with a sensitivity slider and some sounds when the player shoots. Also I'm not sure what the pickups do.

I think a good idea would be to have the player be able to move the wheel backwards by moving left or back instead of making the wheel always move in the same direction.

I really like the UI and the art, nice submission!

I liked the concept!

As it is I find there are too many butterflies on the screen to avoid catching the wrong ones and the turning animation makes it hard to see their color sometimes. With fewer butterflies and a time limit I think the game would be much improved!

I really like the art and the environment! Nice submission

  • Did you have fun?
  • Was there anything you found confusing?
  • Was there anything that didn't seem to work in play?
  • How was the overall level of complexity and learning required?
  • How long did you play for?

I really like the theme. My pet was mid-evolution during a choice and so when the choice was made it was gone for the rest of the game. I want one of those pets IRL, great submission!

I really like the amount of polish in this game. It would be cool if you had some kind of indicator when your dash is depleted.

Also the rolling doesn't continue if the key is pressed down, I'm assuming that's a bug. It also could be improved with some input buffering for the jump.

But overall I love the concept, the animations, the level design, the jump and the mechanics!

I like the concept. I couldn't kill the boss though is that intended?

Fun game! I think it could be improved with a minimap, cars bouncing off of each other instead of sticking, and some kind of progression. I really like the car controls and the chaotic feel of the game! good job!

Fun game! It would be better if the shooting was more limited, as it is you can just hold down [Enter] and focus on dodging. Also have you considered building for web? You'll probably get more plays that way. I had a lot of fun! nice submission!

Fun game, sry I'm late for the rating! I struggled a lot lol!, very engaging! It seems you have to

1. Pay attention to the bubbles

2. try to stay in the center 4 squares (more possible openings)

3. Go for squares that are surrounded by water (higher chance that an adjacent square will spawn)

Thanks for the feedback! yeah If I had to make it again I only play the song once and double the speed halfway through. And have a more engaging movement mechanic, something like the combat in crypt of the necrodancer

Thanks for finding the bug! I'll push a fix soon!

If you press space a bunch of times, it spawns everything multiple times and causes the game to be unwinnable. Also if you press space in the game over screen and spam it, you can make the UI grow ridiculously big. Fun game though and lots of polish for 3 hours!

Thanks a lot! just realized I messed up the end screen, it's supposed to be 93% not 0.93% lol:).

I like the art and the bad guys! It would be nice if you also had to move to the beat. But I like the concept!

The atmosphere is really nice! I'm not sure it fits the theme but this is super polished for 3 hours!

Awesome UI and animations!

Thanks!

Thanks a lot! made it in a day for a jam

Thanks for playing! that's really good! my lowest is 24 moves, you should share your score with reddit!

Super Polished! I like the moving UI and the parallax clouds.

Interesting Idea!, It would be cool if the controls were a little bit harder and there was a timer and a leaderboard so speedrunners could zoom up the stairs!. I like the art as well

Thanks for the feedback, just a heads-up this took me 6 hours to make, I went waay over the 3 hour time limit but felt I should still post something

Wasn't close to where I liked it at the 3 hour mark, but I decided to still release it for this jam, even though it can't win, I would appreciate if you gave it a play and left feedback!

Thanks!

I like the look of it and the gameplay! But I was often stopped by a wall of unfair buildings

I really like the animations and the little honks, it can be really hard as sometimes a car collides just as it enters  the screen. love the concept!

Fun Idea! I got stuck just before the road and had no idea how to get over the fence. The frog is a bit jittery but I enjoyed the gameplay

Cool game, I liked the presentation and intro cinematic, but the controls were a bit counter-intuitive for me

Nice recreation, I like how you show the progression path, so we can plan ahead.

Fun game, I liked the variety of enemies / allies. I think it would be nice to have a bit more control over the unlock system than just 3 options, like being able to see a tech tree or something. But it's a sick game for a 2 day jam, I look forward to seeing what it would look like with more time!

Thanks, and yeah the UI was a rush job for sure! Thanks for playing!

I really like the animations when the level loads and the preview scores when you're about to place the building.

I was stuck at level 2 for a very long time but I think it's because I didn't realize bonuses were applied retroactively, I thought the order mattered.

Super dope game, I want more levels and I want to know how you made the game look so good

Cool Idea, I think it would be better with a timer or something to give it some challenge, Nice Game!

this was part of a game jam where the theme was: "A cycle repeats" so having the cycle be the same but +1 tile was necessary in this case. yeah a timer is a good idea!. I should've also allowed the user to hit space instead of forcing them to click the start/restart button to minimize clicking.
