Lovely game! I love how the game looks and plays. It's a proper puzzle navigating through the field, and I love how the field expands over time. The visuals and audio are top-notch too! Insanely impressive, especially considering the devtime of 7 hours! I would love to tune in to your stream next time - it would be great to join Trijam Discord and post the link there when you go live in future!
I would love to see an expansion on the game too. Maybe with "timed bombs" that explode after 3 moves and deal splash damage around it, or "portals" on the field that teleport from one cell to another. So much potential, makes me excited!! Also, a "timed" game mode could be fun, where we must make a move in 10 seconds or a random move takes place. Could make for a fun alternate playstyle on the same game!

Thanks for the incredible feedback!
I'd already jotted down a few ideas for improvements to this game, but I'm also taking note of yours. Honestly I wasn't sure if this game would work beyond just a little game where you think “Oh, that's fun!” and then move on. But reading some of the comments, and watching myself having fun trying to “finish” the game, I'm thinking that this game does indeed have more potential than I initially thought.
At the moment, I'm working on improving another Trijam game, CosyCompanyPuzzle, which I made for Trijam 280. And I eventually planned to improve the one for Trijam 281. Maybe I'll add “Slime Trap” to the list of games to pursue.
And if you'd like to come and watch a Twitch live stream, I'd be delighted. I'd just like to point out that the stream is in French and that I'm terrible at English (I'm using an online translator). Besides, as the Trijam discord seems to be mostly English-speaking, I might be afraid of advertising myself to an audience I won't be able to communicate with on Twitch chat :D I don't know... I might introduce myself anyway and actually submit the idea of notifying when I live (even if I don't feel like spamming :D) Anyway. I'll think about it. In any case, logically, I stream my game creation for the Trijam every Friday at 11am (French time).
Thanks again for the comment. I'm really glad you liked the game so much !
Oh thanks so much for the feedback on this bug! I think it was due to the events not resetting between games. You probably finished a game just before the board expanded and started a new one. I've corrected this, and it shouldn't happen again.
Other than that, I'm delighted you enjoyed the game! Thanks again :)
God damn, masterpiece! Really solid for the 7 hours dev time.
It really felt like a game you would get on a like.. "27 puzzle games in one" for the original game boy or game boy color.
Sorry if that sounds negative, I mean it in a hugely positive way =D
Got a score of 106, really pleased with that one =)
somehow reached Round 95 ...i was just trying to survive ......not sure if its a bad or a good score. ... btw nice game ...loved the art and music :)
Great idea! The game is so simple and intuitive, yet it is so good!
