Ooh this game was really cool and I really liked the graphics and the music, it all worked really well together! I especially liked the character designs :D!

Great game. Interesting combat mechanics!

I think the combat components mixed in with rhythm games are  cool approaches to this jam. It sounds like in the comments that you lost some team members so kudos to you for caring on and getting something submitted. With that in mind, here are some things that could have used some tweeking. It looks like the arrow keys should be hitting on beat with the song, but they would fall out of sync after a bit. I also struggled with this in my game. It isn't easy getting the timing right when you're dealing with milliseconds lol. Again, great work in pushing through!

The concept is amazing, but for me the arrows weren't appearing, so the game wasn't running. =/

This is a very interesting concept, like one of those rpg battles you get in Pokemon and etc.! I do find the start a bit buggy (idk, maybe it's just me?) where the arrows doesnt appear after I initiate the attack for the middle enemy. But other than that, It's a cool concept on attacking with beats :) Good job!

That was really fun! The note hitting was really satisfying, to the beat and just the right level of difficulty. Balancing of offence and defence through the ability to heal myself was a really nice way to make the game more interesting too. Criticism-wise, the game could use more than just 2 levels, the level select and save capabilities kind of made me expect it to be a lot longer than it actually was. Secondly, the bonus to damage and resistance is probably there, but it's not really communicated effectively. I genuinely could not tell, when I was upgrading my character - throwing in a little bit of 'juice' when the player powers up could a nice way to make the game more satisfying.

Thx a lot for ypur kind words :3 and sorry fo letting you down on the lenght of the gae we got some internal conflics ๐Ÿ˜• and the team got a bit smaller resulting in some cut content. As you could se on the credits all artists left T-T so we had to get creative ๐Ÿ˜…

I feel you, last jam I did, we started as a team of 3, then after not doing anything for half the jamtime, the rest of the team just bailed. It sucks, but hey - you made it in the end :)

The visuals and idea were great, but there was no connection with the arrows and music so it made it much harder than it should be.

Thank you for playing and rating :D is very appriciated!

Because the Combat actions can happen at any moment instead of using charts, I went with generating the notes using the BPM of the song and the samples amplitudes to change the note direction but, some tweaking to the generation could be help to improve!

Could you tell me in what way it feel disconected so we can improve on it plaese :D ? would be very helpfull

The arrows did not appear to match the music in the slightest so it made the arrows feel much more random.

nice game! :)
like the music and visuals! :)

and making you also do the defenting by oressing keys is great spin on things.
I only miss the connection between the music and keys you have to hit.
