Cool game!  I bet it took a while to design some of those levels and make sure they were solvable?

I dragged one of the planets off the screen somehow and it got stuck.  :(

Developer

Sorry for your troubles, I wanted to constrain the planets to the screen view area, but never got around to doing it :(

I did make sure I was able to solve the problems before making the submission, for the last one I just made sure I could finish the level :P.

Nice little game!  I might be stating the obvious, but it strongly reminded me of Angry Birds :)

There seems to be an issue with window resizing: when resizing after the game has started, part of the elements end up off screen.  Conversely, when resizing before the gameplay starts, the elements occupy that much space, which changes the gameplay (and might make the mission impossible?).

Developer

Oh! I apologize, I never really paid much attention to resizing :(.  Actually the resizing was disabled for me the whole time on Windows :/.  Weird.

Thanks for taking the time to review and it playing it.  It does feel like Angry Birds, the space one I think.  I wanted to make more elaborate missions though and my 8 year old had a ton of ideas on how to improve it further.  I will try and continue working on it!

I use EXWM which can force-resize / fullscreen applications, so even if you "disable it", it's just a hint, it never reallyprevent the window manager from going fullscreen.

Keep up with the good work!

In my opinion the most urgent would be sounds to make it more entertaining.

Then the list goes on idefinitely I suppose: traps, moving objects, specials stages with reversed gravity...

Great game!

Developer

Haha, one of my friends did this too! :)  The last level is a little hard, pressed for time I didn't have a ton of time to create a balance.  I am glad you like it.  Thanks for the feedback@

Unfortunately, couldn't run it on Ubuntu 18.04 and the latest LOVE from official PPA

Developer(+1)

Uh oh! So sorry, @technomancy just helped me out with a 11.1 bundle, I uploaded it, can you try that one out?

Yay, It works! Nice puzzle. Quite hard to guess the correct orbit for maximum profit, but entertaining!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I am glad it worked out for you.

A very complete feeling game. Probably very much worth turning into an expanded concept. Loved it.

Developer

Wow, thanks a lot for the feedback!  I am glad you enjoyed playing it!

Nice job. I recognize some of those planet sprites from a game I made a few years ago.

I had a bit of a hard time understanding how changing the positioning would affect the path of the ship, but with some practice you get the hang of it. You might consider re-wording the instructions; it wasn't clear that "mouse" meant "drag the mouse on the planets" at first glance.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!  You're right about the wording.  I should make it a little more clear, and may be have a tutorial level.

I also had to patch it a bit to get it working in the latest version of LOVE; since the Linux version doesn't bundle the framework you might want to offer a download that's compatible with 11.1:  https://p.hagelb.org/gravity-falls-love-11.love

Developer

Oh Wow, I didn't realize, thanks for the download!

Pretty nice game, but the intro is too long, and can't be skipped

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it.

You can skip the intro by hitting the SPACE key.  I should have made that more obvious, or handled the Esc key.

Hitting the Space key is pretty obvious. No idea, why I didn't try it ^^

Developer

:)  Esc should do it to I feel, first instinct is to hit get me out of here escape.
