Very interesting mechanic. Cool mix of exploration and environmental puzzle solving. Great job :)

Thank you so much! :)

Really impressive amount of content for a jam game! At first I was extremely confused, but after a while, I got the hang of it and had a great time. :D

Developer

Thank you! :)

This is really good :) I managed to finish with 810/800 at literally the last second.

Thanks and great work as well! :)

Great game. Loved exploring around. The amount of polish is insane! Starts from the amazing GMTK splash screen. Very cool to see pico8 games like this!

Congrats on submitting.

Developer

Thank you! Pico-8 can be very powerful and useful in game jams! you can start very quickly and you don't have to be affraid to reach the code limit as that is probably very unlikely in a jam!

I did LD this year in Pico8. It was fun but I feel like I'm not at the level yet where I can quickly create games without an engine :)

Cool! Everyone has their own way of working, for me at least frameworks fits me better than engines, but I want to give Godot a try :)

It was my first time using Godot and it felt really intuitive! I do want to return to Pico8 for the "A game by its cover" jam though. You should check that out if you don't know it yet!

It looks really great, very polished, I think if I had one criticism it would be that there was no sense of urgency, didn't really feel like there was any threat? I had a good time, though. And again, the game looks great.

If you get a chance to check out my game, that'd be appreciated! :)

Thanks! Fair point, I wanted the time pressure so you have to use the dash, but maybe I need to come up with some visualization of the ship is about to explode

Submitted(+1)

Maybe some music too? And you could have the timer flash red after every minute and play an alarm sound to remind you that you're on a timer!
