I love this game !

The way you build momentum with the dog is so satisfaying !!

I also love the different environement of the game that offer some new mechanics !

Developer

it was one of the favourite things of our programmers too! we'll try to make some new cool mechanics in the future if we keep going with the game ^^

Submitted(+3)

That's a brilliant use of gamejam theme! Main mechanics is very enjoyable and responsive. Sometimes dog stucks for no reason, but that's not a big deal.

Also like how dog drifts when you turn very quickly.

Developer

there's some things that needs fixing with the dog, luckily, you can unstuck him easily getting close to him, the dog drift is one of the favourite things of our programmers, i'm glad you enjoyed it ^^

Absolutely amazing game. Really polished. The music is really fitting, the art direction is super cute. I feel a bit bad being very cheap with my treats. The dog does such a good job cleaning up.

The game concept is really fun too. I thought it wouldn't be that interesting but it got me hooked right away!

Love it!

Congrats on making such a good game.

Developer(+1)

thank you SO MUCH FOR YOUR COMMENT, it means a lot really, i'm so happy that you got hooked mate ^^

I like how the dog has this bobble head like look and feel to it as it adds to the character/personality of how the dog is descried in the game :)

Developer

he may not be so smart, but hell yeah everyone loves him

Submitted(+5)

This is outstanding !! don't know how you did this in 48 hrs but A M A Z I N G , everything is good with this game, the mechanics are nice, the style super cute and the music doesn't make you wanna close the game XD this surely deserves to be in the top 10 ! Congratulations ! hoper you make of this a full game (:

Developer(+2)

your words are so kind thank you so much! the secret for doing it is certainly a good team and lots of coffee hahaha

It’s a cool idea, another one of these takes on the whole “two characters tied together” concept. I’m surprised at how many different ways of implementing that there seem to be.

It’s well polished visually, it’s got a nice and clean style with the UI and models and color scheme and such. Gameplay-wise the mechanics are okay, the movement and dog drifting behavior is pretty well tuned, but the collisions around certain objects are a bit wonky, and the dog often got stuck on corners, bridge, rocks and sometimes on seemingly nothing.

Overall I think you did a good job, it’s certainly a lot less buggy than what we managed to cobble together =D

Developer(+1)

thank you soo much for the feedback! We're planning on launching a post-jam update, hopefully fixing everything that the 48hour time limit didn't let us do. Stay tunned!

Submitted(+4)

The game is really nice! but the dog feels really slippery, I think this could be tweaked

Developer(+1)

that's the point, mate! The dogs movement is made with physics. You have to play with it to move him around the room :)

Submitted(+5)

I've only had that dog for the gameplay time but if anything happened to him I would kill everyone in this room and then myself. Pretty nice concept and fun gameplay. My only problem was that the dog got stuck too many times in the corners. But i really love the art :3

Developer

our little friend is not the smartest but i'm really happy you enjoyed it despite the little bugs!

Submitted(+6)

Simple, unique and cute! What else could I ask for? Brilliant game :) Funtastic(pun intended)

Developer(+1)

thanks so much for the kind words, they mean the world to us ^^

Submitted(+6)

First off, even before you start playing, the presentation is spot! Nice work guys! Polished.

I really felt the pressure when I went from being a huge grass field to just maneuvering across a house. Damn that was though! X)

The fact that your dog has to see you to chase after you makes it actually more believable.

Nice music. Nice menus. Nice game! Great job guys! :D

Developer(+3)

thanks a lot mate! our progammers did a lot of polishing in the programming, although there's some minor bugs that came out in the last second, overall the game is very much playable, i'm incredibly happy that you enjoyed it!

Submitted(+6)

work of art! all 5s from me. one of my favs

finished the game having a blast. I am know wishing you guys had like a week to implement more levels and new mechanics, maybe a surface that makes the dog faster? or different types of enemies that follow you  or flee instead of moving randomly? an evil cat that scares the dog away?

btw, I just dont get the worm in the thumb hehe

Developer(+2)

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE 5 STARS, in the team we are seriously taking into account some of the things you just said, really curious and interesting idea so thanks so much for the feedback, the thingy in the thumbnail is supposed to be the rat's tail, some of our friends mistook it too for a worm, anyway, THANKS A LOT !

Submitted(+3)

ooooohhhh a rats tail, it makes sense now. 🤦

guys, keep doing this kind of stuff! I am proud of this great team! =)

Submitted(+6)

Cute game! Original as well, really liked it, well done!

Developer(+3)

man i just played your game and the whole art is spectacular, you must be professionals, really outstanding job, thanks a lot!

Submitted(+5)

This dog must be protected at all costs! This game is so cute :(

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much, we love and protect our little fella with our hearts, your game was also a blast, i'm so happy for you!

Submitted(+3)

Excellent entry!

Are you guys a team from a game school? It looks exactly like a project from one of those teams!

So well done, polished. Nice. And more levels that I was expecting!

The concept is great and uses the theme intelligently. Bravo!

Developer

thank you so much! We're just a group of friends who loves videogames, some of us study game development and others have already completed other studies related to it. It's nice to hear that we make a good team!

Submitted(+4)

The sheer amount of polish in just 2 days is epic 😂

those words mean a lot! is always one of our main goals :D

Submitted(+5)

Very fun game and great presentation! The game idea was very good :)

Developer

fun is our final goal, that's why we make videogames. Thanks a lot :D

Submitted(+4)

Great idea! An interesting balance of your character having the health and the dog having the attack. Nice work :)

Developer(+1)

thanks! we tried to make it so attacking is also a risk and the player has to keep moving, hoping it would be fun. Glad things turned out well!!

Submitted(+4)

This has so much good stuff. Love the dog. The concept is very unique. Overall a great game. One of my favs of the jam for sure.

Developer

glad you liked it! Comments like this make everything worth it. Thanks!

Submitted(+4)
