Tricky game! I included it in my GameDevNetwork: The Big Festive Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

I have some things to say.
First, extra points for the Linux port, check.
Second, aesthetically, i like it. The ice texture, the colors, the snow, everything contributes pretty well to the environment.
But I have to be critical about the game playability. A restart button would be great, and the fact that every time that I collide with something I start to go backwards and have a hard time gaining the momentum makes the game a lot less pleasant to play. Also when it flips over, it's really awkward, because, I just stay there.
Finally, little tutorial screens or even a readme in your folder saves time for your player. Maybe not everything that is intuitive to you may be to them.
Good luck in the voting and keep developing :3

Thanks for the feedback ! :D You can (should) be able to pause the game by "ESC" which opens up a menu with a restart button (or you press the R button for quick-restart). A tutorial screen is probably a good idea though. Thanks and good luck to you to, keep it up!

Good time trial. After i hit something, the car goes backward and i cant go foward again. I dont know if its my PC/GPU, but the game crashes after i click on restart, having me to close it and open again.  I could only get at the end of first track (21s i think) just going foward and not avoiding anything (after the car hits something, it enters in a 'ghost' mode and after that come back to normal). Graphics are cool here too!

Neat graphics and didn't realize godot could do so much! The controls take a little getting used to. Would be nicer with some music and sounds.

Really great visuals there. Unfortunately, the game feels very "laggy" for me. And also, although the control is simple, it is so hard to maneuver the vehicle. For example, once you hit a wall, you have to go backwards, but after that, it's hard for me to go forward again.

Just for a bit of improvement, I think first improve upon the control and make it intuitive. And then maybe optimize the game so that it doesn't feel laggy.

But you did capture the feeling of Christmas very well with the art style, great job!

Thanks a lot, I'm glad everyone is liking the graphics :)

II don't really get what you mean by lagging? I think maybe you are referring to about lack of game feel

And thanks for pointing out the flaws,  I couldn't agree more,we will try better next time :D

This is visually impressive.  Unfortunately, the gameplay doesn't match the visual appeal.  If I try to be strategic and dodge obstacles, it's easy to get the vehicle stuck, or some such.  So, I found the best strategy was to try to drive down the center of the road, regardless of what I hit.  Are there supposed to be more levels - the game page mentions multiple levels, but I only found the one.

Developer

Hey thank's a lot for your input! You can change levels in the main menu with the arrow to the right, here are 3 in total

Ah yeah, I figured it out.  The outline around the buttons is so thin, I didn't even notice it.  It required an extra click to highlight it before proceeding.
