I created all the art and music during this jam. The only premade things used here were the font and the sound effects I made for another game jam.

It took me a while to realise my cursor was the plant (and not just a cusotm cursor), but once I did everything made sense. The complementary mechanics between the venus fly traps and the flies is a smart idea. Nice work.

The tutorial at the beginning was very nice, and you were right, playing the game is the best way to understand.  The artstyle was nice, and I found the music and sound effects to be quite fitting. Victory is challenging and well deserved. Honestly, a pretty good experience. Great job!

The gameplay and art are nice. The movements of the tutorial text was a little bit distracting, I think it would be easier to to follow the tutorial if the text was moving slower or not moving at all.

Thanks for the feedback! I was trying to give a little fluency to the animations, but I overdid it. I'll be sure to keep this in mind nextime.

Pretty good! Some nice gameplay ideas here, I like that you use the venus fly traps to defeat the flies. I was still a little confused on how to play at first despite the tutorial. Maybe needs a little more polish to the UI and tutorial, but good job overall!

I like that you have to mange the venus fly traps. Too many could kill you. Too few and you can't kill the flys.

The UI was quite messy, and I had trouble understanding how to kill the creatures, and when I got the "fly.killer-thing". But I see a lot of potensial here. :) The audio was nice.
