Hi everyone,

The deadline for submissions has past, but we'll accept late submissions for the next 48 hours. Please send a link your game's itch.io page and GitHub repository URL to the email address below, and you'll receive a link to submit your entry :)

Cheers,
  Lee

Hi Lee,

For games that were submitted before the deadline, is it acceptable to submit new builds for the next 48 hours (Until Sunday, Dec 3 13:37 PDT)?

Thanks!

Hi charlietran,

I'd recommend holding off on uploading new builds until after the judging period ends. If it's to address something seriously broken / preventing people from playing I think it's fine if you just make a note of it in the submission page.

Updating the repositories is fair game though - nobody will be judging the jam code ;)

Cheers,
  Lee

Hi Lee - somewhat along the same lines, what about uploading a build for a platform that we didn't have time to set up? (For example, Mac)

Submitted (1 edit)

I think that qualifies as "preventing people from playing," so go ahead!

Whew, you're a life savior !
I was 7 seconds late unfortunately https://sygmei.itch.io/evilcupid :(

Hi,

It's probably a dumb question but how to you link the github account with the itchio account ? Also I submitted mine here (https://bafs.itch.io/xor-game) but I cannot see my game in the list "Games submitted(212)"

Hi BafS,

If shoot you me an email (shown above) I'll send you a link to submit your game. You'll just select your game, enter the GitHub URL and hit submit :)

Cheers,

I was considering attempting to build my game for HTML5 to make it easier to rate. Can I upload an HTML5 version late?

Submitted

I have targeted my game for mobile platform only and designed the interactions as such but unfortunately no one is rating it I think because of the trouble of downloading and installing. So is it possible to build it on web or desktop platform now and submit the build?

Hi,

If it means more people being able to play (and rate) the games, I think it's perfectly acceptable if you add support for additional platforms. I'd recommend making a note of it on the submission page (or devlog if you're using that feature).

Cheers,
  Lee

If you're going to accept late submissions then they should receive an automatic penalty to their rating.

I used the instructions to submit about 12 hours before the deadline, then went to bed, just today someone pointed out that my submission wasn't actually submitted to GameOff, despite being on GitHub, and itch.io, so a few hours ago, I deleted my game off itch.io. Now I'm reading this ... :(
