In what way does your game fit the theme?
It is possible to rewind time and record your past actions in order to solve puzzles and complete levels.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, although we did use some free-to-use assets which are listed in the description.

Very ncie and polished game. Simple to understand, though I wish in game button prompts were there to get me playing more quickly. The rewind effect feels good and is very responsible, and creating clones is fun. Nicely done

Really love the art style. The camera is a little hard to work with sometimes (imo), the textures should also be local object space not world space, it feels weird seeing the textures move on an object.

Overall really fun

Developer

Thanks for the feedback and I’m glad you enjoyed the game! The way the textures work is what helped us easily and quickly iterate the level design without changing any of the textures/models, though we do agree it looks a bit weird on moving objects and it’s one of those things that we would have fixed with a bit more time.

Loved it, nice ambient, and nice little mechanic

Really a charm. However: No pause and escape menu (and that for a game that starts off so polished). Also...I didn't really see the 'rewind' (but then again, I didn't get through many levels :D). Controls were fine.

Thanks for playing our game! It is indeed true that the pause menu is one of those features that we would have liked to add into the game but ultimately didn’t have enough time to make. I’d like to point out, though, that by holding the rewind button (X or Left Shift) Chai is able to rewind time, creating a clone that will repeat all of his past actions.

Really cool game!!! I absolutely loved the aesthetic and, in general, the design of the game. At first the controls felt a bit weird but as I got used to them it was very enjoyable! I would really appreciate if you could rate my game :)

Great game, enjoyed the perspective it also! I have only one small criticism is that sometimes the music got a little bit much, but it wasn't bad.

Top marks, music, theme and game design are very nicely done. Kudos

Rate my game if you have the time.

very beautiful game. the puzzles design was good. Imo the game was a bit slow, walking and rewinding take a bit of waiting. other than that the game is really good

Developer

I tried to fix the problem you mentioned by making the clone stand still and not disappear for a few seconds after the "recording" has finished, though I played "Back to the Button" and I get the way you fixed the "waiting problem" on a more fundamental level in a game about rewinding time. Really clever game!

The title of this game drew me to it, wasn't disappointed at all, Kudos team! PS: 'Chai' means 'Tea' in Hindi. ;)

Developer

We weren't aware of that! The name just sounded cute. Glad you enjoyed the game.

Played your game in this video here at 00:54:20. Didn't get my audio settings quite right so my feedback is a bit, quiet, but hopefully it's still helpful feedback.

Hey Bird, that's great, seeing other people playing your game is one of the most satisfying things! I hope the game wasn't too loud, it makes some of the stuff you say a bit hard to understand :(
We'll carefully go over it to make sure we get it! Thanks a lot!

Challenging and very polished, well done, that's a great game!
