Meow meow, that was fun! I like the art and the music.

Nice game! I enjoyed playing it, The mechanics are easy to learn, but different from most other games, which gives it an interesting take on the climbing theme.

This one was really easy to pick up - the controls are super intuitive. The art is great, the sound is good too - the game is comical. My only suggestion would be that I found the screen scrolled too slowly at the beginning - this was alright for the first play-through but after that it made the beginning a bit tedious.

This is great! It's really nice how you have to wait the camera to move on, love it and physics is great!

The mechanics just work in the right way. It's instantly fun and hard to put down. The cat is really cute :D

Gave it a few attempts and really enjoyed it, although it could be a little confusing as to where to go, but the grappling mechanics worked well. The inertia felt a little off, but once I got the hang of it I thought I was able to control the cat pretty well. Overall a great game and I think it’s amazing that you made this in so short of a time.

Thanks! This was my first real game jam and my first time working with a physics-based game. I'm really happy with how this came out. The level layout is somewhat random, cycling randomly between a handful of  premade maps, so I totally understand there are some map combinations that can be misleading or confusing. My one regret is I wish I was able to get moving with level design a bit sooner as I definitely did not leave myself much time to work on that. Glad you enjoyed the game!

Very smooth and fun hook cat. The gameplay is slow but fun and interesting. Also the music and sound effects are nice. Great work!

Thanks for the comment! ^_^ Glad you enjoyed it! I'm not sure how far you got, but the game does get progressively faster and more challenging the further along you get.

Oh, now I see!

apart form the audio of the meow being way lower than the music the audio works wonderfully.
i would've liked it if the vases were easier placed to knock off the platform but darn do i enjoy being a cat.
also, the coin placements make it confusing at times as to where i have to go.
sometimes i touch the lava and don't die but, it's actually nice as it make sit feel like you "clutched it".

all in all, great game and the graphics are pretty smooth.

Thanks for the  feedback! I actually thought I fixed the volume of the meow as I did notice that it was much lower than the rest of the audio, but I must have just forgotten to re-import it. The obstacle layouts are randomized from a handful of maps I designed. Unfortunately, I didn't get to that until late in the jam so I'll admit they are a bit rushed and I would have liked to tweak and improve them further had I more time. Also, yeah the trigger for game over is actually quite a bit below the screen, probably a little lower than you would think. Cats have a pretty good tolerance to heat, so it's okay if kitty gets just a little bit toasty :P By the way, I really enjoyed your game! Definitely one of the best games in this jam that I've played so far.

as a fellow human, i can agree that cats can probably tolerate heat, it appears as if they have some sort of "melting temperature" yes.
