- Funny idea and with potential. At first, it’s a bit tricky to figure out exactly what you need to do to get the dance right. It could help to make the move you have to copy more clear and visual so it’s easier to follow. Also, adding more dance steps and slowly making things more challenging would probably make it even more addictive. Nice work!

Honestly addictive — kept playing way longer than planned. Loved the whole atmosphere and concept too. Great work!
Cool, thanks a lot for the nice compliment. It is always a good sign if people played longer than they wanted :D.
I liked the music and sfx, great submission
Cool, thanks for the feedback and playing my little creation.
Hi! Streaming your game now:
Thank you very much for playing my game in the stream! Really cool to see somebody having a bit of fun with your own game 😊!
Love the aesthetic - the hand drawn graphics are splendid, tunes are pumping and humour is great! Well done, just realized, though, that I'm even worse at dancing than robots ;P
Haha :D, thanks for the nice words. I am always amazed when people like my graphics. This is basically the only style (hand drawn kids drawing style :D) I can do. It is not really an aesthetic choice :), but it usually fits to my silly games.
You can try these moves next time you are on a a dance floor in a real disco. For sure you will get a lot of attention ;).
Really love the music and animation! Good job!
Thanks a lot. A lot of work went into music and especially animations. They always take a lot of tweaking and time to get right!
love the music. fun to play too. Great entry. Enjoyed being kicked off the dance floor!
Thanks for the nice feedback. Cool that you liked even the losing part of the game :D.
Very unique game! Love the art style and music! Great job
Thank you very much for playing and the nice feedback!
Fun animations, and an interesting interpretation of the theme, (I thought of disco machine.) It’s impressive that you’ve been able to create 5 songs (+ the intro,) and the game is nicely wrapped together and playable on mobile. It was fun to see the main character being kicked out of the disco.
I think the game could be more difficult for each stage. Maybe introduce additional dance moves for each level, or have the “moves” come up on the screen beforehand, and you having to match the correct move before the next beat.
Overall a cute entry, good job.
Thank you very much for playing and the feedback. Agree, I struggled with the difficulty quite a bit this time and did not manage to bring in a good difficulty progression. I really think I should start with a super easy level and then slowly add more elements. This way I could also later bring in some more difficult but funnier patterns. I had cool ideas for patterns, but my playtesters struggled already with the game having rather simple patterns. So I just made it rather too simple and not in a nice progression. I ran a bit out of time to balance the difficulty properly and have a nice progression in the game.
Yo, this game is really cool! I really liked the animations and music! It worked really well when the dance moves switched with the music because you could predict it better. The last level with the lights was pretty tricky. I recommend expanding this by adding randomly timed events and making it more of a rhythm game. As it is it is really fun and one of my favorite games from the jam so far! Great work!
Thank you very much for playing and your suggestions. Agree that something is missing... I really could explore the rhythm aspect a bit more. The randomly timed events I just had to cut due to keep the scope under control and I had a bit a hard time to find the right difficulty. I was afraid that random events might have made the game more difficult and hard to figure out.
Just wanted to say it's not that I thought the game was missing something, I was just suggesting some areas to expand if you continue to work on this. In the scope of a game jam what you have made is really impressive!
I liked the music, this is really a fun little game, more player feedback and patterns would make this interesting for real
Thank you very much for playing and the suggestions. Yes, it lacks a bit of content. I had to cut quite a bit to make it on time and also avoid that the game is very difficult. I had many ideas for cool patterns, but they were just brutally difficult to recognize, so I left them away.
