We loved this!!
We loved seeing all the different 'things' to catch and the environmental changes.
Seeing the red bar was also a real cool concept that I haven't seen in many fishing games. The art and the animation were really neat!
Great game!!!

Man i love fishing! awesome game, did you take inspiration from the fishing in stardew valley?

I love the shopkeeper! Lots of personality in their animation. Very neat fishing experience and great art!

Really love the drawings. Very cute relaxing game. You could've made a little bit harder, but that is just my preference.

This was a fun lil incremental game! I would've loved to see some slightly harder or different fishing to change things up every now and again. Otherwise, the art was simultaneously cute and horrifying, great work!

Game is fun to play, the art & animations are very cute, love it! The gameplay is straightforward and easy to grasp, progression is clear as well, but can be more impactful. The game can get a tad bit repetitive after a few turns tho, so harder fishes would be a good addition. Layered difficulty can be introduced as well to put a wrench in the repetitiveness. The theme was not present firmly enough as well. Nice work overall!

This game was genuinely so fun to play, I loved the fishing controls. The art style is so befitting of this genre and style! I would definitely love to play an extended version if you guys plan on doing one after the jam, one where catching Cthulhu is different from the others, I was hoping I could quite literally caste my line into the sky lol.

All the money went on the one eye guy - spent well =). Nice little game. Didn't notice if power-ups do anything.

The art was really cute! One thing I would have liked is a short description for the different upgrades, just to know what each path does or improves. I think it would be really useful for the player

I loved this! The ending photo was really cute, totally worth it. My only request would be to add a 'logbook' of some sort where I could check all the types of thing I've caught, and how many I'm missing. I also like when fishing games track arbitrary stats like the longest of heaviest of each fish that you've caught.

I'm glad you liked it! We plan on updating the game with a compendium like that after the jam is over, you're right that it would be a big improvement.

This was really well done! The art style is so cute, and the fishing is very peaceful. Great job :)

I adore the art, really cute and well drawn. The little animation the shopkeeper does are super cool! Played the whole thing caught the big dog. Really wish there was some completion compedium in game to be able to see all the thing you've caught so far, because the arts are just so nice. Really did not expect an ending, as this is a jam, but was really pleasently surprised when one came.
Great job and good luck :))

Thank you for the kind words!

We might update the game after the jam, a compendium is a great idea.
