How does your game fit the theme?
Cloaked Hand is a card based 2d platformer, which something I personally have never heard of! Also, in literal terms, there a phase move that literally lets you removal collision to get outside of the box. That too.

This is really awesome!!!! I honestly consistently ran out of jump cards, but that’s probably because I’m a whimsical creatures that loves to jump, but honestly this was so peak!!

Awesome short, and the artwork in the game is great, especially with the card art. I think the gimmick of getting cards for abilities is neat, tho personally I'd rather jump be a basic ability you always have, and then have the cards do pretty much everything else, as getting stuck in situations where you need to either burn cards or just stay stuck in a pit from running out of jump cards was unfortunately really frequent. It's still a damn solid base for a game, and with more balancing and designing around the limitations here it'd be a really good time.

The concept is very interesting and creative for sure, but I feel like the execution is not that great, it's really easy to get yourself softlocked if you get unlucky which makes progressing more rng than it should be in my opinion. The art is really good and so is the pitch video.

I love the artstyle! The concept is super unique and the implementation mostly works for me. There were times though, that I'd end up in a hole and couldn't use a card or take damage, but it was fine since resetting is super easy. Overall, very fun!

Really charming presentation and a clever twist on card-based platforming. I liked having to plan around the random abilities and using cards as both tools and health, even if that sometimes made early levels feel a bit unforgiving. The music and little character animations give it a lot of personality. With a bit more tuning on movement responsiveness and card balance this could be something really special.

This was a really cool and unique idea. I do think it is enjoyable, and I liked the video submission. Sometimes the movement could be a little hard to control like the input wouldn't register fast enough, but overall this is a really great game.

Wasn't able to beat it, so I'll have to replay it later to try again, but overall I really like the concept. I think it's really cool having to strategize ahead of time what you might need to deal with certain issues. I also like how you can take risks for cans. And I also like the idea of the amount of cards you have being your health (Though those flying chip enemies are hard to attack and always get me a couple of times). The farthest I got was the city level. 

Very creative, charming little guy, and I'm also a fan of the art.

Loved the idea of having randomized abilities, but sometimes it felt like they weren't as easy to use as i'd like. Still, very fun concept!

seems like a really cute game, but it also seems you put debug mode for the windows version download, as it opened "CloakHand (DEBUG)" and when an enemy or a spike touches me nothing really happens other than an animation.

Really? I haven’t had this issue I’ll have to look into it, unless you opened the command prompt one instead of the exe (I’m not the programmer so I’ll have to asks my dev friend when he’s up) sorry for the inconvenience.

Looks like I can't fix it, no changing files now. That being said, what the artist said may have been the issue? I haven't encountered anything like that at least

Also, for the damage, you get damaged when the animation ends! A little odd I know, but it felt right for being able to escape out of the damage. After you get hit and the animation ends, you lose a card.

oh alright. I'm fairly certain I'm using the exe and not the command line one, but maybe it is just a problem on my side. The game is very neat, the music was great and the art was very charming. The gameplay was cool and unique, but I do feel it is a bit limiting, for example the regular jump is much more useful than the air jump, which has some use cases but still, less. Also on multiple occasions I couldn't beat the first level because I didn't have a jump to get to the exit, only an air jump. Still a really cool game, great job!
