Really nice puzzle VR game, every time I figure something out given the clues in the area, I feel pretty smart. I really liked the scale/candle and it’s incorporation in the game, and also using the cloth. Great job on this game!

Thanks a lot for testing our game, and really happy you enjoyed playing! :)

Nice, clever puzzles and cake. The movement/player controller does have the problem where if you teleport too close to a wall so the screen blacks out, it's hard to figure out which direction to move to get out and get vision again; I had to just restart the whole game a couple times because of this. IMO depenetration by pushing the world away would be a better default for xrtools's player body.

Thanks a lot for testing our little game!

Yeah, we tried depenetration and were thrown in outer space instead of the black screen. But we'll have to fix it (the best solution being probably depenetration + fix physics settings).

I was able to win but am still a little confused on the win condition (spoilers:)

I entered the audio recorded code into the regular keypad after which a message popped up that was too fast to read, so I was unsure what to do, I went into the mirrored room and entered the code backwards. After a moment a new code appears on the screen and I entered that one into the regular keypad and it said I won. What did the message say that was too fast to read?

Otherwise it's a well polished experience with cohesive visuals and interesting mechanics, good work!

Hi ! Thanks for playing and for your feedback ! :)

spoilers :
The text says "Save your life first" - meaning you must first deactivate the gas before entering the second code to open the elevator. I think the text being so quick is a bug.. oops :P

This concept was really fun! I knew there was something past the initial completion phase :)

Also love the Portal reference, great job!

And congrats for beating it!

Cool concept! It makes me think of Minit. Nice art and aesthetic.

A bit challenging though: the only thing I personally managed to figure out was going through the mirror and listening to the recording. I poked around through a couple more rounds, but couldn't figure anything else out.

In any case, great job!

Thanks so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed our little game. 🙂
Each of the clues written on the walls points to a solution, and they’re usually placed close to where they’re meant to be used. 😉

Extra hint: try looking a bit closer at what happens beyond the mirror…

cool aesthetics , maybe could have played around with the light more

controls needs rebinding , having movemet on trigger felt quite rough , character seems to rotate a bit after every moement too

didnt get past first room in 10 minutes of trying , might need some better play guidance

Developer

Thanks a lot for testing our litle game, and for your feedback on controls (we used the default from the Godot XR Tools)!

We didn't want to make it too easy, but there are many clues (including in music and sound) about what's going on beyond the mirror. 😉

Not really into escape room games but some clever concepts like the melting candle and weight puzzles.
Tried 5 times but I could not finish the game.
A good entry for a player that likes puzzles.
Congrats !
