Very interesting idea, with close connection to the theme. I think it got a bit boring to me quite fast. I never actually managed to let someone escape, so it seemed a bit too easy I guess? Even with fast moving adventurers if you have an art room next to the entrance they always fill themselves up with excitement I guess. Solid entry with interesting mechanics. Sound was funny too for me the sfx was a bit too loud. Very well done!

Thanks for the comment! We didn't have any time at the end to adjust audio levels so it all went in as i exported it. I think the chandelier in particular is too loud, and needs some tinkering to match the animation better.

Very cool concept. I could see myself spending a lot of time playing around with different room combinations and layouts. I really like how you have to think about where you want each room to be, sometimes it may be better to place a room only for its effect while making sure the adventurers never actually enter that room itself.

This was a very interesting game! I really enjoyed how each room attacked the characters differently, everything was very unique! It was fun coming up with different variations to attack. Very nice work!

Really nice game! The softlock is unfortunate, but it's still really fun!

Wasup Liam, based music as always 😎

Art is also great but as other's mentioned it's buggy right now and I got softlocked too ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nice game, had fun trying different builds :) However i encountered a bug where no new enemies would spawn in and was stuck at 12/18 enemies i think.

Very cool game besides that, and i really enjoyed the artstyle!

Wow a very fun and unique idea, haven't seen much like it and the theme of it being a haunted house is epic!!! I think the different qualities of each room really blends together nicely allowing for lots of different strategies and I really like how it gets you thinking about the order the rooms should be in and what they should be next too! There was one bug on the 3rd level where I lost and it gave me the option to restart then I won but nothing happened and I had to restart the game, but other than that twas very smooth!!!! Great job I hope you make it into a full game :)

Very cool concept! It's like blue prince crossed with orcs must die, would never think of crossover like that myself.

Bit of a confusing start but was a lot of fun once I figured it out, pretty good concept and nicely executed. I also experienced a bug where the level would not continue after the adventurers were finished. happened around level 5.

Super cool mix of tower defense/deck-building. Enjoyed trying to optimise room placements and card draws. Great visuals and sound. Definitely feel like this is a great foundation for building a bigger game from!

Developer

Thanks for your kind words, and nice work on your cartography/card crossover game!

Thanks, I enjoyed your ant shooting game!

The gameplay is enjoyable overall, though it took a little time to understand how everything works. Once I figured it out, it became much more engaging.

The game is pretty fun, it took me a moment to get the hang of it, but at the end i got it. Around rounf 12, the game didnt spawn any more people ad i got soft locked which was a bummer!

I love the anti-horror concept of this game and the execution is really good. I was confused at first but it turned out to be a pretty addicting experience. Too bad the game bugged out for me so the round couldn't finish after all adventurers were dead.

Great job!
