How does the game fit the theme?
The greenhouse starts out cozy and heartwarming, but in a David Lynch–ish fashion, grows progressively stranger and darker as the game unfolds. Is the greenhouse even real?
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Everything was prepared for the game jam, except for music & sfx that we borrowed from a previous game.

i think this has to be my favourite game out of the ones I've played in this jam so far! it is so beautifully melancholic. reminds me of fran bow and little misfortune, two games that are very close to my heart.

Absolutely gorgeous art, and the story works well with it. I loved the puzzles, it would be nice if the completed ones were visibly different so I'm not clicking everywhere to figure out what's left but I'm also probably a bit dumb haha. Fantastic work!
hehe, nah, it's more about us not having time for a final polish, I'd say. Ana literally stayed up for almost 40 hours straight to finish the art and programming in time 😬

Beautiful visuals! I think some of the puzzles could definitely use with some signalling to the player whether an element has been solved. Otherwise great work!
Yes, we agree! Thank you for both compliments and useful feedback 😊 Since many seem to like it, we're thinking of polishing it and adding some content that we didn't have time for and make a Steam version in a few weeks :)

Fantastic narrative and atmosphere! i enjoyed the puzzles and the progressive eerines. I didn't see that screenshot with the moon in my playthrough, did I miss something? Kudos on a great game!
It's just a small bonus animation borrowed from a recent dev log that we threw in at the last second. It shows if you click the moon that appears in the game menu after you finish. You should be able to see it in Ana's last dev log, so you don't have to finish it again 😬
(Ana made a series of small games featuring Sonya and the blackbird years ago. After we connected, recently, we've taken up the story. With all the positive response from this stunt, we now hope to release this as a stand-alone experience (prequel) and eventually complete the full game of Sonya's adventure.)

Incredible game, I played through it all and it was amazing. Loved the storytelling and the art style as well as the eerie music.
We are really overwhelmed by all the positive responses. Thank you :) We borrowed the music from an earlier title of Ana's, but given this response, we'll contact the sound guy to redo the sound effects and hope to release a larger, more polished version of the game later this Spring :)
