Excellent submission! I really liked how you handled the theme and the prerequisites. Interestingly, before we started working on our own shmup, we actually discussed doing something very similar to this! I love what you’ve done here

Brilliant use of both big and duality, and the genius of the design is the Bigness makes Duality hard to maintain, as it on purpose picks harder dodge-matrices. Where it comes to the insight required to build this, it's on a whole other level. So i think this is spot on one of the best expressions of a lot of people's philosophy on Itch, minimal execution for a web game so its responses are tight and then -packed- into it is the old Sid Meier statement "do you get forced to make an Interesting Decision". Just masterful work.
It's tight and it hits all the themes in a smart way and i think that encapsulates a 5.0/all subscores type of game. tbh.

I mean I don't personally walk the talk because i for the moment am going through a phase where I am enamoured of feature sprawl.
Puddlefish is cute but my thing barely works and lags pretty bad in contrast for example.
But there needs to be a small slice of weirdos like that.

My score was 1254 by my 3rd try! That was a very entertaining game, very solid and simple execution! It made sense, it worked well, the movement was interesting, the balance was interesting, I tried it out a few times, excellent work! I thought the background design didn't fit as well with the rest of the game, I was not a huge fan of the music but that one is personal preference. I loved trying this out, excellent work!
Hi, thank you for the feedback! The background was not our favorite too, but not having an artist on the team sometimes turns into this. We tried to focus more on the game mechanics and I'm glad you liked it :)
