Yessss thank you so much for playing!!

I'm very excited to hear someone solved this! Ty for playing c:

Omg thank you!! I wasn't sure if it was going to be too out there but I thought I might as well give it a go!

I seriously love the art style! Super silly and a lot of fun!

The "gross!" VO made me chuckle. I had a lot of fun playing this! I played for quite a few upgrades before dying. I found the goal for adulthood was a bit far, but still enjoyed playing.

I thought the interpretation of the theme was unique! Nicely done!

Faced a similar issue as the other comments!

I thought the concept of stealing others traits was very interesting. I was able to get through the first fight and steal a trait in the process. After that, the game had crashed. I tried again and it did the same thing! Would be interested in playing a future version of this game!

The music was a banger and I was able to get to the boss! I think being able to see a little farther would be nice as I felt like the boss was always right outside my vision. Overall I liked the premise and had fun.

This game was insane and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I do think the controls get a little wonky with the sphere as the cursor and sometimes I felt like interacting with things wasn't working. Gambling is always the answer.

I love card games! This was a very cool concept. At times I wasn't sure if it was my turn and felt like the enemy took a bunch of turns in a row. Asthetically the game looks very nice. Some of the UI blocked parts of the enemy deck as well. I was able to get the soul at the end and saw how the cards synergies.

I think I may have gotten tha hang of it here and there, but I wasn't fully sure what the rules were. Sometimes touching a bacteria did what I thought it would and sometimes it wouldn't.  I do think the concept is cool though.

Game visually looks very cool and I like the concept! I tried to infiltrate a target that was available and it said target wasn't available. It could have been the way that I was typing it. The sound of the typing was a bit intense as well. I love games like this though so I hope to try it again at some point!

I see the vision and hope you finish it at some point!

Super cool mechanic and the art style was very unique! I was shocked (in a good way) when it asked for access to my camera and that was part of the mechanic. The side arrows blended into the background a little and I think the scroll could be a tad faster, but overall super interesting and fun! Great job!

Thank you thank you!

Thank you so much for playing, and appreciate the feedback! c:

I'll definitely see what I can do!  I want to do a more finalized release of the game, so I'll see how many options I can build for.  It's nice to hear that it's up your alley!  At points, I wondered if the idea was a little out there, but I do love everything spooky and dark history so I just rolled with it.

Thank you for the in-depth review!  I seriously appreciate it!  You definitely read that right.  I wanted a village, but I was not going to have time to draw it.  A cool little detail is that all those buildings are actually photos from South Edinburgh from the late 1800s. c:

I really appreciate the kind words and the feedback as well! More clarity is a big focus for the next update.

This was a lot of fun! The art style is amazing so so so cool.  I found myself not really paying attention to the attributes and just placed people randomly and was able to play for quite awhile.  I think I just panic with the timing to take the time to read and look at the stats. Still a ton of fun!

The game felt juicey and the concept was very cool. I think replacing the event log with the brief could be helpful!  I was too focused on the game to really pay attention to the log, but was wishing I could see the brief again. Very fun!

God I love card games and this one was a lot of fun! The art style was very cool too.

Love the art and concept!10/10 so much theft in one game.

I was able to play!  I think the concept is interesting, and it's a game I could see myself liking.  I think the main problem is effectively communicating what's happening.  The dragon is super cute, but I didn't connect that it was tied to the cards popping up.  I think with a little more feedback and information within the gameplay, this could be very cool.  It reminds me a lot of the resource management board games I like to play.

The spotlight mechanic is super unique and was a ton of fun!  The only issue I really ran into was accidentally dropping a tower behind the money bag icon. I would definitely play a non jam version of this game in the future. It kept me wanting to play.

Very cool theme!  I wasn't sure if there was an end or maybe rounds, so having a visual element to show progress like that might help!

Loved everything about this!  My only wish would be for an easier way to instantly erase my prior line, but juice-wise, tapping the crayon did feel nice.  The aesthetics were peak and it was a very unique game!

Thank you for the feedback and playing!  I'm definitely hoping to add more depth to the gameplay, and I love these suggestions.

Thank you for playing!!  I'm hoping to have some updates after the jam!

Love the concept overall!  Very cool theming.  I think the human's behavior got a little funky sometimes.  There were a couple moving back and forth on the edges of the screen, maybe bumping into each other.  I think sneaking up and playing a mini-game is a cool mechanic.

I love the theming!  I would definitely want to play an updated version of this.   I saw it already in the comments, but I wasn't completely sure what the icons did or what impact they would have beyond conversing.  I do like the idea of talking your way through, though!  It was cool to see the responses. I feel like it's a lot of space to hold the three buttons, so maybe another visual element that says "choose wisely" or something above the buttons.

Love horror games, and once I figured out how to move more quietly, I was able to get through a decent chunk I think! I was very spooked.  I wish there were an easier way to de-aggro enemies, as I was able to do it once by going all the way outside.  Or maybe if I could push them back with my arm. Still, love the concept!

Super fun!  I love the concept.  It's probably a skill issue, but I found myself spending most of my flicks trying to exit lolol.  My feedback would be to make exiting slightly easier. Really great overall though!

Super cute!  I love the overall aesthetic, and the gameplay was very cool.  It kind of reminded me of Little Big Planet!  My feedback would be that it was sometimes hard to tell what I could jump on and what was in the background.  Maybe having a visual difference between the assets would help.

I'm so glad you  noticed the vampire changing ;u;

Thank you so much!!

Thank you for the kind words and playing!  Yeah, visual juice is definitely next on my list when I start working on this project again.

Thank you for the feedback!  I was worried about the speed, so I appreciate the insight!

I can totally see that, and thank you for playing!  I'm very much an artist first haha. When the end came rolling around I was wishing I had poured more time into the gameplay.  Definitely a lesson I'll be taking with me!

I love this library so much!  It reminds me of Madness Returns.  I used it in my latest game jam project!
