Which theme(s) did your game incorporate, and how?
PIGS! Cute Pigtagonist is the main character. Also, everything has a cost: the seed upgrades cost a lot of money.
Did you use any pre-made assets? If so, what were they and where were they from?
No pre-made assets were used. All made in the jam by me.

Hey very nice game,,, :0,,, also i noticed that u used affinity too,, wow its a glad to meet another affinity user,,, :),,,also i really like the art style, (affinity is the best ;))
Thanks for playing! Yay for Affinity! I hope it stays good even under Canva ownership. My art style is very vector graphics inspired XD
Fun farming game I enjoyed it a lot relaxing and calming. Check out my game and rate it I would appreciate it.
Thanks for playing and rating, glad you enjoyed it!
the tutorial with the bee was super cute! i love farming games and this one’s no exception :) awesome work and awesome streams! my only suggestions are the same as some other comments, planting in bulk mechanic and different UI font – but it looks like you’re working on the game post-jam too, so i’m sure you’ve got that covered!!
Thanks! 100%, the time crunch means those nice things get cut down and simplified, but I agree with all of the those feedbacks. I wanted to include a little message in the game so the post-jam version has the cutscenes in full now.
this was a very relaxing playthrough! Very simpe, nice visuals, great game!
Thanks for playing, glad you found it relaxing I was going for cozy vibes. <3
Very cute, relaxing little game, had a lot of fun just planting and harvesting :]
Thanks! I'm did try and make a "cozy" game so not too stressful for the gameplay part. Glad you enjoyed it!
neato bonito! cute, very simple and nice progression! I love the part where my money grows, i wish money was this easy to get... good game
(also i watched your stream, youre quite funny)
Haha thank you! Thanks for playing, and glad you enjoyed the stream as well. <3
aaaa thats so cute <3 You can also add, for example, insect repellents and sprays to buy, gardening tools that will accelerate plant growth 🥰
Oh yeah I have bugs planned for a future game (based on this one), but I didn't think of garden tools, thanks for the idea! Glad you enjoed the game! <3
very cute! gg (=ʘᆽʘ=)∫
I'm glad you like it! Thanks for playing! <3
Nice cozy game! Very relaxing music. I thought the title was real clever. It's a bummer the cut scenes didn't make it in, because they were great! Adding some kind of watering mechanic where even the water costs money could be an interesting mechanic to add more depth. Great job overall!
Oh yeah, in my initial planning phase I was like "that would be cool" for a bunch of different options, but ending up scoping those extra mechanics out because I knew I'd be pushing to get a simple version out, but I'd love to include stuff like that in my next game or post-jam update. <3
Solid first solo project in godot!
Everything feels very responsive and all the ui was very intuitive to use.
The chill music made it such a vibe to just plant and harvest the crops that I ended up making enough to have 2k in reserve cash before I realized. (I then made a fatal mistake and pressed the left and right mouse buttons too quickly and was sent to the "previous page" dimension)
A also quite liked the character design! Wish I could have seen those other cutscenes in all their in-game glory but thats just how game jams go.
Great work!
Thanks! I'm gald you enjoyed so much! I am planning on a post-game version with all the cut-scenes and a few other improvements as well. Such is the way of jams! <3
I dont usually play these type of games but it was a nice time. On theme too hahaha
Thanks for playing! <3
The game reminded me of the time i played stardew, nice mechanics, the music is subtle and i love the fact that theres a music was present however i would prefer that you can plant all seeds when you click a certain veg in the inv rather than manually clicking inv and planting each time you plant. Wish there was more to the game too i loved the vibe!
I would have liked to include a "plant at once" mechanics too, but not enough time to get it working unfortunately. Thanks for your feedback, I might be trying to put this in a post-jam version (after the jam votes are done).
The music in this was nice and made it a chill time while farming! all the plant art was really cute too
Thanks so much for your feedback! <3
A neat little farming game. I do really like the story you wrote in the description, and I got a good chuckle out of "A Dough Bee".
Yay, thanks! I'm sad I didn't get to include the full cutscenes, because I know not a lot of people read the descriptions. XD
Very cute game- the style is adorable and the characters are very cute! I would recommend giving the players control of when the text boxes disappear because they went by too fast for me to read.
I had a bit of a frustrating bug. I sold 30 tomatoes, which sell for 20 each, but I only received $159 instead of $600. Me and my friends looked into the coding but we couldn't find what was wrong :(
Thanks for playing! Ah yeah, the cutscenes explains that - everything has a cost, and the upgrades cost money, but I ran out of time to implement the cutscenes., so I pasted them in the page description for lore. I agree, once I learn how to have the user progress the text boxes instead of having it be a preset animation progression, I plan to work on this more post jam.
Visuals: Looked like a classic flash game.
Audio: A bit bare.
Gameplay: Was really comfy. It reminded me of stardew. I would say you should make it so you click the seed then click the plot to put it in so you don't have to keep going back to select the seed.
overall: COMFY
Feel free to play my game too if you can. I'd appreciate it a lot.
Thanks for playing! Yes that was my original intent however as that was my first time in Godot I had to scale back to something a little more basic. But I know a lot more now having a toolbar that works like this is planned for post jam! :)
