Hi everyone!
Special thanks to all of you for voting and giving me such invaluable feedback — this means more than I can express. This was my first time working with Godot and this new art style, and seeing you all play and enjoy it made me smile bigger than I expected.
A special thank you to yvleedev for the support and for hosting Oink Jam. I'll definitely be back for future jams and I hope to keep delivering more refined games each time. 🙏
And wait... is that a bat?!
Stick around for the post-jam update to find out more. Sneak peeks coming soon.
Phew,,, got tons of thing to tell you,,, first of all art was great,,and the ctr screen like effect also blended so well,,, hey i wanna know something,,, the narration of the game was perfect and seriously i expected some kind of a twist,,, maybe i missed,, bcz when even from the beginning all levels were unlocked, are we playing a loop,, look like ur game have some sweet lore in it,,,i gotta figure out,,,also if u got time dont forget to give my game a shot too :)
Hey, thanks a bunch! My main goal is to create games that are easy for everyone to pick up. So, when your son finished my game, it made my day! Also, yes, of course, Oathbound will have a post-jam update. It might take a few weeks, but I’m planning to expand the levels and add a tutorial skip button, as you mentioned. I haven’t started the post-jam content yet, but I’ll definitely keep you in the loop. Also, please mention your son to get him excited for more Oathbound! :D And hey, could you ask him what he thinks about the Golden Knight? Will he love to play as him, or maybe even play alongside him on the same board?
Hey man, appreciate your kind words :), every game has its own pros and cons, but I think if we’ve already executed and shipped a game for a jam, that itself is a win. And your game was such a nice experience – a bit intense, but it really nailed those vampire vibes. I’m more of an artist than a coder so I take a bit more time to code, but you’re a great coder :),.
Hey, I played this game way back when, even before the voting kicked off! What was super fun was that my brother and I played your game from beginning to end. The end screen was beautifully done, and that sunray drawing was just perfect. And the truffle made my day! Oh, and don’t forget to check out my game too!
Hey, nice art! I also really enjoyed seeing you portray pigs as normal in Surface and Underground, complete with ties and clothes—that was a fun twist! And wow, while I was working hard at the office, a message popped up saying I turned into bacon! Lol, haha! Anyway, nice game, man! The lift was awesome too. Oh, and don’t forget to play my game too!
Wow, your game is really well done! The in-game tutorial was super helpful because it’s the best way to learn. It also reminded me of those old games I played on button phones back in the day—they were awesome! I was having a bit of trouble bumping into boxes when I tried to grab coins, but it was a fun challenge. The background music is nice too. If the clouds could poof and vanish as the pig gets closer, that would be amazing! Either way, this pig can fly! Also, don’t forget to check out my game too.
Hey, this game is awesome! Your crayon-like art style is just perfect. I finished the game, and it feels great. Your game design was so clever because the pig can actually escape without even using money if we use boxes strategically. That’s a clever design! Big thumbs up, man! Oink pad:). Also, feel free to check out my game too.
Thanks a lot for playing oathbound,, yeah level creation was a heck of a task to me,, bcz i wanted to create puzzles that feels good but at the same time with a fair difficulity, thats why i end up with a 4 by 4 grid to keep thing minimum for the jam period,, i will add more levels in post jam update ,,feel free to check oathbound when it release ,,:)
Hey man I don't know whether it's coincidence or not... So in ur game u use furnitures... When i was early in this jam my first game idea was abt falling furnitures and a wobbly pig.. In 3d space... But I never completed it due to physics issues... But now seen ur game like this make me full filled... 👌✨,,, also ur 3d models look sharp on point.... Am not good at uis so the way u created all those pigish furnitures is just awesome... U can scale this game upto Nintendo level man.. As a Nintendo fan I can guarantee it... Also feel free to try out my game too... ✨
I came back to play ur game bcz first time it was before voting period.. Got the same fun as before... Nice game and also if u can add some kind of a element merging or stacking method.. It will be awesome, also feel free to try out my game too,,, nice work,,, (also ur frog look kinda similar to the frog in spritfarera... Coincidence ig :))
ireally like the 3d blocky style,,, remind me of a scrapped game of mine aswell,,, also if u fix the camera to rotate or perhaps auto rotate based on the origin point,,,it gonna be a massive quality improvement ,,, also if u ever need help while creation of title screens or 2d art work,,also 3d aswell ,,,lemme know we can collab in future,,, also check out my game too,,
